  1. Got a parcel shelf in very good condition Chris, some pics here. £35 collected £50 posted http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?78413-Breaking-8v-Headlight-amp-looms-Fuel-tank-More-stuff-added
  2. You Rang  I actually Primer them with a heat resistant paint like Plastikote then I use Halfords Silver Caliper paint over the top to give them that OE Finish. I have painted the whole disc surface before now and then fitted them and then driven round the block and it burns/scrapes it off after a few gentle mile, I find it makes a bloody mess with silver paint dust though so took to masking the main braking surface then cutting the majority of masking tape away with a stanley knife. Be sure to leave a couple of MM on the outer & inner edge of the surface though otherwise they start to get the edges rusty and this way as you drive it cleans the whole part of the disc that the pads rub against. If however you just want to fit discs without this faffing about simply fit them then give them a good coating of Hair Spray (You read that right) this will stop moisture getting to the disc then just simply drive off and it'll get scraped off as you brake. Just remember to go gently for a few miles ;) Here's a pic to give you an idea, you can see where the masking isnt perfectly round but it's good like this as it just burns away almost instantly.
  3. Great, not sure when i'll get the chance to collect it so if you could post it i'd appreciate it. Was thinking something like a flat screen tv box or something, what do you think? I'll have to try and get someone to collect it for me if not. Paul
  4. I'll take it. ---------- Post added at 7:07 PM ---------- Previous post was at 7:05 PM ---------- I'll take it. Is this for Early or late car by the way? I'll have it 100% but if you know which one its for that'd help my head out lol
  5. Thanks so much to all of you for helping out not just by attending but also for the many of you that helped set up and de-camp later in the day. It was a massive success i feel for both the CCGB and Corrado too. So moved to see that so many had remembered to be there at 1pm in memory of our friend Chris Gaskell, i was actually a bit overwhelmed to be honest and anyone who knows me very well will know that this last week has been immensely tough for me with the sad loss of another friend. Sunday though made all the effort worthwhile in that everyone pulled together to put on a great display and install it in all our minds that being part of the club is a great place to be. Many apologies for not getting the chance to meet everyone as is usually the case :( but great to speak briefly with a few now people and and rekindle friendships with older ones too. Ah Goldie i've missed you  xxx Here's to the rest of the show season and hope to catch some of you soon ;) Get over to here and get your name down. http://www.corradoclubgb.co.uk/ccgb16/index.php?option=com_illbethere&view=events&Itemid=202

OK Mate ;) Nope you need to completely remove the bumper, the bolts are where the bumper iron meets the bracket the 2 main bolts go through. 3 on each bracket, i adjust one side at a time then re-fit check etc. ---------- Post added at 9:38 PM ---------- Previous post was at 9:37 PM ---------- quality laughage James. :salute:

it's a reet ball ache as you need to fully fit it, remove and adjust the 3 bolts on the iron brackets as they are slotted/orbital then re-fit and tighten and check again etc. Just time consuming but if you tuck the wheel arch liners out the way and get all the lamp wires tucked away it's a much faster job. May take 3 or 4 attempts. They were actually a bit sh1t from the factory anyway  ---------- Post added at 9:13 PM ---------- Previous post was at 9:12 PM ---------- And what's picky about that? It's gotta be right dude ;)

  19. Good stuff, fingers crossed with the pump. pour a little fluid into it just before connecting the pipes and definitely work the system before firing it up with the wheels in the air. ;)
  20. Good luck getting it sorted Ben, really hope you make the show.
