Just paint it mate! they were only done in primer originly and sprayed off the car.
  6. I was gonna say Karl isn't going to be too happy seeing another set of these  Look Superb Dave, you and Mark at Elsecar this weekend?
  7. Jim, I disagree mate, if folks need a screen because there are chips and scratches that cause you to be annoyed about them especially at low sunlight it's dangerous to leave it that way, probably all the people interested about having a new screen is for that very reason. I really dont see it an issue, it's not like people are having them fitted just because they can, they are wanting them for better therefore safer vision in the long run not to mention checking for any signs of corrosion at the same time which could in time deem the car an MOT failure if the A pillars rot through completely.
  8. Yep get your local autp windscreen company to do the job and then when they balls it up & it leaks or they loose your trims like they did with James's car get these guys to do it right, the thread isn't about what you can buy a screen for its about who's fitting it! :) You'll probably be able to get it done through your insurance as i have done withthem, even though my insurance company use another national company I insisted on using these boys, all i had to do was pay the full amount £560 then claim it back off my insurance which i did without issues once i sent them the bill. The prices in the first post are probably if it's for getting done without any insurance being involved if you dont have screen cover on your policy. Simples :)
  9. Yeah but you'll probably get a complete retard doing it! thats the whole point of this group buy, getting it done by someone who actually cares.
  10. Well they certainly get my recomendation. they have now fitted 6 screens into our fleet so cant prise them enough. I think i need to contact the guys for commission if thi goes ahead
  11. Andy, you'd only get boredafter a week!
  12. Laughable MPG, I saw 48.9 on the Scotland trip which i was stunned by. :)

  15. Cheers Gareth, something to smile about for me at last to be honest, it's been a long time to get here with it.
  16. They are indeed Real Live Legends, you will not find a better team to fit a Corrado screen. Hope you are pleased with the results Andy. :)

  18. How do you search for part numbers on etka anyway, where do you put the number? trying to learn more about computers :lol!
  19. I'll get some good bay shots today then Lol! Quick question too Andy, when i blip the throttle hard when i'm under the bonnet theres a little squeek as if it's a spring opening that needs lubing on the throttle body, is this something you can remember happening to yours? it isn't a worry as it seems to run perfectly (imortal words) When i open the throttle gently though it doesn't do it, I'm thinking it's a flap inside the body opening due to more fuel being pushed through as if i'm about to overtake something? Any thoughts? Thanks! ---------- Post added at 9:05 AM ---------- Previous post was at 9:00 AM ---------- Vaughan, you are correct it is a dirt Magnet lol! especially the inner wings in the engine bay, I think it'll be a close call between the two cars but i know the Nugget will look cleaner because it's so damn bright.
  20. Correct :) He has many other VW stickers too in his ebay shop including the 1.2 angle sticker for the headlights.
  21. I think the tool is around £100 so i'll ask him when i next see him.
