  1. If you joined over a year ago the site crasshed and was replaced so you may need to renew as a new member and then enter your old membership number. If you struggle please let me know. Paul
  2. Nope just turn up and join on the day if you like, you will also get entry into the museum free of charge which if the sun isn't shining is great :) Hope it's going to be like this though.
  3. Breakdown charge is shocking as said that really is pathetic. Hope you get it sorted soon kiddo
  4. stick with standard rubber ones chris, regarding the old mount on the lower section is actually needed as part of the front mount but the vibratechnics one doesn't so you remove it. Yeah get proper hex rather than multi point, you may need a fair bit of torque to get the bumper bolts out but if you have one next to the stuck one out then squirt plenty of wd40 in there through the adjacent bolt hole and leave over night. You really dont want the bolt to sheer off as it could be a right pain to sort. not the end of the world if the 3rd nut snaps off as it isnt needed anyway, just refitting the cover at the bottom once the vt is fitted tidies it up underneath. Bumper bolt torque is 85nm as per Bentley manual Kip :)
  5. What is it with these bloody kids? idiots the lot of em, if you cant be arsed to post the things you sell chuck them in the fecking bin and do everyone a favour. Just no excuse as they know they are doing wrong. Karma will get you though in the end.
  6. Yep same old retarded public that cause the usual not required bedlam Grrrrr!
  7. All about priorities Chris

    Rear tailgate foam

    I have 10 in my garage :)
  9. Most IBD'S independant bicycle dealers do cycle to work scheme too and you will get real advise rather than sales generated advise that you would probably get at halfords. If you have any in your area call in to ask :) if they are like us they will be extremely helpfull and ask about your needs from a bike rather than what everyone else is buying. Kip
  10. Chris, i cant remeber if i asked Jim if he'd recieved it! Jim can you confirm you have an article from Mr Langdon? :)
  11. Gareth, Just checked the list and you lapsed last year. If you rejoin at this time of the year you'll be added to the list for expiry in April 2013. :) or if we go to rolling membership 12 months from payment date. Kip
  12. Might be easier to change the hoses for red :/
  13. Bump as this is next Sunday 1st April, hope the weathers like this :)
  14. Looking good Stone :) never ever seen a corrado with orange hoses on either!
  15. I reckon it was due to mileage being logged on vw's system when it's been in for servicing etc and then had the clocks possibly changed for some with less mileage on, it wasn't uncommon for vw to change clock in earlier days, i know my 8v has had a clock change by vw in it's first 3 years due to a fault. So Written mileage on the mot certificates may not tally up with vw's computer data base :)
  16. Great little meet today, Exactly what its all about. A good chat with old friends and good to meet a few new ones too and put faces to names. Well done to Mr & Mrs Macdaddy on the trophy fo car of the day :) Sorry to not speak with everyone but it's always the case, chat to a few then in no time at all people start to leave as time flies so fast. Hope to see some of you again soon :) Paul.
  17. I just removed the lower mount cover 3 bolts, once the vibra one is fitted i dont think you need to re fit the cover as the vibra one sits on the cross member only. But i re-fitted the cover anyway. The bushes will probably be ok but if its off the road for a while nothing stopping you if it isn't a daily, they are easy to do with the right tool so if you get stuck if you decide to do them give me a shout for some how to pics ;)
  18. I think its not a bad size that, is there room at the back for spare wheels?
