Thats interesting hasan, you dont seem to hear many disliking speedies i know where you're coming from on size but i guess you just accept it and get on with it as it is. there's 10 spaces and only 9 folks including you buddy, so was easier to explain, seems not though :lol: If Macdaddy comes that'll be 10 :) Site says 10 places but there are only 9 on the list which is wierd, plus i cant see how to actually edit the list to remove myself.

Theres room for you though mate so not a problem. :) I have a few broken bones so wont be driving then so removed myself from the list so to speak hence the spare slot.

Hi Steve, It did mate, stands are now booked on the CCGB website, look in the Home/Latest news drop down menu on the front page, go to Events List and add yourself to the list. The stand for Elsecar is actually full but if you want to come we'll squeeze you in ;) Please add yourself to any other club stands this year too as its first come first served basis. Kip :)

Great progress mate, seems a pain at the time but good now it's done. headlight washers are a nice touch if you get them working :)

Thats not good Jim but to be honest i though 9 years was the maximum anyway? not heard of a company that actually do anything beyond sticking 10/12 or whatever years on the renewal reminder etc. be interested to know if anyone else has had further discount for say 12 years or more.

Hi chap, Right here's a little info for you. CCGB stands for Corrado Club of Great Bitain. A. term you'll see a lot on here along with the Sprinter Magazine which is the clubs own bi annual mag. As a member of the CCGB you get the opportunity to take your car on the club stand at various vw events throughout the year, which often means right in the middle of the show itself which aint a bad thing in itself. Concours, is basicallly a competition at the show where the idea is to present your car for the judges to look as original as possible ie just left the factory. There is a class for every type of vw at some of these events and the one at Stanford is the one other events try to copy, the standard is exceptional and the perfect opportunity to see how a car would have looked as it left the factory :)
