-
I Know mate I know, it just gets me at this time of year and it happens every year and it gets worse as i get older Lol! Yes it'll be Sunflower at the NEC :flower: be nice to see if it'll compare with the attention it grabbed at harewood.
-
 Got it in one my friend. yeah its a minor setback but to sort it right means a new tailgate painting and feeding all the wires in and all that hassle and with my eye operation it just knocked me back 3 months, i know for certain it'll be fine but i just cant get my head round it at the mo! Joby, will have to share a few beers and discuss it at the NEC :drinking:  good luck with the TT
-
I even wrote HATE in the dust on it the other day! :( dont ask me why i really just lost it and with the issues it has too are no help whatsoever. Cant be bothered to clean it and cover it up but i guess i'd better sort it before winter sets in. :?
-
My VR hasn't been started up since getting home from BVF in the fist weekend in July  still covered in flies and now covered in nearly 3 months of garage dust. I currently F'king hate it!
-
That looks a bargain and the one Karl posted up looks good with the sat nav too Hmmmm!
-
Yeah thats what you use after washing the car etc, you need the bottle of it from halfords for about £6-7 before you use that really.
-
I do have Lupo ones on the daily but the other 2 will always have standard wipers yes and it helps them no end, never have a problem with the vr with it being so well cleaned Lol! Half the battle is not the wipers its the contamination on the screen that needs to be sorted once thats tacled the wipers will work much better even standard ones but used with lupo ones is excellent. Golden rule is the more you cleanse the screen the better they become. I apply the rain x monthly but use the class cleaner after every wash as you would normally do
-
Use a clay bar if you have one and then give the screen a good polish with Auto Glym window polish NOT the glass cleaner this will then leave a good base for the rain x to adhere to, you will probably need to use several coats of rain x over a couple of weeks as it soaks into the glass and the more you use it the better it gets. Using their glass cleaner helps a huge amount too and i've just started using the screenwash they've brought out
-
Indeed, its awsome stuff if used correctly and now they do a glass cleaner that tops up the layer on your windscreen for when you've washed the car and thats good too, plus add the stuff they do to the washer bottle and you cant fail.

ALAN!

order them from your local dealer mate, they were not done as a kit form other than ones put together by whoever was selling them. All the part numbers are correct in both the links too.
-
One day i'll add up all the bills i have for the last 11 years and currently owning 3 doesn't help and then feel rather sad :(
-
Do you have roads without other cars on where you live then? I remember a chap fitting it to a standard uk VR6 a few years ago so i cant see why not.
-
Nice work Dave, not looking forward to doing ours though as the matrix's will need to be done soon :pale:
-
Bought some from my local dealer in Barnsley this week, Hayseldens and they sell them on ebay, Silverwagon on ebay. happy for me to collect them but wouldn't give discount but for the sake of a fiver or so i wasn't bothered as they are hard to get now.
-

Good grief  I mean how much does it cost them to keep a few of these kicking around! Made myself a bonnet release cable at work today for the 8v which had snapped and it works a bloody treat :D all for less than £7.50 RRP wonder if i should start selling them as a kit  will test it out for a while first though but 30 plus hard pulls on it so far and all is good  -
Dirty mare lol!
-
Here you go mate, hope they make sense! you can just see the white clips on both ends if you look closely. Sorry they're a bit blurred i couldnt get the camera to focus
-
Sounds like both the white plastic bits are missing. I'll try and get you a picky later.
