Went up to silverstone today for my brother in laws ferrari track day. While I was there I had a 3 laps in an exige round the track driving and the same again as a passenger with the instructor. Lucky I got a nutter, he took me round at wharp speed, power slidding, rumble strips the lot, made my laps look like a Sunday drive. :lol: They had a cup 240 break exige there that the ferrari drivers had hot laps in that was a fine tool. You cant beat that buzz you get from get the crap scared out of you....

Nice, got a thing for white cars at the mo....

my brother in law is a ford man and he just got rid of his old st for a new import scooby (paid £16.5k) over the new st. i must say i saw one in white the other day and it looked nice.

They all seem to have the rare Karman interior as well :wink:

spit and polish do it for £35 a corner plus £10 to polish the lip. they are very good.

There was a good straight set of RS303's on E bay that ended this week (a guy from E38) that sold for £870 delivered. You could have striped them down and polished the front lips for virtually nothing and got steel outers for the rears for £100 eachish. 4x100, but straight 5x100 301's would be the same.

Its only an S350, but still a 3.7 V6. Its not gonna break any land speed records, but V smooth.

Went for a spin into town last night in this, can be described as driving a large piece of fillet mignon. Night vision on the dash, projectile parking parking camera, fridge for 6 bottles of crystale in the rear arm rest were some of the gadget highlights. Edit: Huge pics thumbnailed ;) - dinkus

Get some high quality 17's with decent tyres like these http://www.the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?t=39366 16's will look lost unless you lower the car more, especially with the stretch of the tyre that is required on 9's.

What are they 17's on it? I would leave it as is, it looks nice. Or buy another set of 17's. Nice high spec car as well, leather + washers ....

Not keen on the tan and black on the alfa, I mean the dash and seatbelts and plastics. Keen on alfa's though, 1st car was an alfasud.

My mate works for Merc, I know a few bits. They have very complicated sales targets i.e. you have to sell so many of each model both new and used. They are very big on paperwork i.e. questionaires for clients, pre sales enquiries, post sales enquiries etc etc (this is audited). So attention to detail is important. I think all their garages are now owned by Merc themseles (no franchises) and they are split into regions which compete with each other, they did this a little while back now. They are also big on those funny pshyco analysis questions, so be thoughtful when completing the forms. Good luck.
