Yeah exactly. I hate having to seperate the exhaust that has normal clamps, its especially difficult when the cars only jacked up on stand and not on a proper ramp, those would make it so much easier? Plus no chance of blowing from the joints, right?
-
Pretty much sums up Corrado ownership  Welcome to the forum mate!
-
Im yet to see this, i really must!
-
I was, until i googled them  But i agree they look a hell of a lot better then the conventional clamps. So do you just weld the rings on each part of the exhaust as per first pic?
-
Cheers for the efforts Ian, its appreciated. Sorry to hear about the abuse. :?
-
Probably a daft Q and feel free to shoot me down. but they do come with flanges right?
-
I truely hope not! :?

I dunno, i've got one fitted now, but yeah 15bhp is more then optimistic. Passes MOT just fine. Infact if i recall correctly the emissions were lower since fitting it then with original CAT. I paid £100 quid for it off here, but not sure i'd pay £200 odd brand Kev, do Magnaflow do a sports cat then?

Good luck there - I looked 6 months ago in preperation and no-one had any to order!! Ah, that could be an issue. Hmmm.... need to get some spare cheap wheels first anyway, which will have to wait til after christmas.
-
Sent email. Thanks Ian. :salute:

I'll be waiting until the summer to buy some winter tyres to put on a spare set of wheels. The amount they've gone up is shocking, plus its a bit late now considering the snow has come and gone. Spent an afternoon clearing the drive and front of the house on the street, a neighbour opposite did the same and his next door neighbour. Our part of the street was clear. If only other people in the street had done the same, it only takes peopel to do in front of their house and thats only half the road, the person opposite can do the other half. But no one does.

WIth all the Corrados you own Kip its a wonder you and Judith arent in straight jackets :cuckoo:
-
Sounds like the thrust bearing if it goes when you dip the clutch. Not sure about only doing it at certain revs only in 1st gear though.
-
Yeah sorry litres. 70/30 is what i do.
-
As per manual VR6 with AC - 8.6 VR6 without AC - 8.2 All other models with AC - 5 without AC - 5.6 EDIT - thats not taking into account what Judith has pointed out ^^ and assuming its completely empty  thanks Tom

Or for the Calibra to hit the Probe as it parked up! Or that yeah
-
Not a Corrado spot as such, but went to use the jet wash today and whilst i was washing the car a Ford probe pulled up and waited for me to use it, then a Calibra pulled up next to the probe to wait for the jet wash. The scene had a hint of TopGear about it, all that was needed was Richard Hammond and it would have been complete.
-
Cant see in the book that says that. But have just found out by reading the book that the heated washer jets are infact automatic depending on the abient temperature. (page 46)
-
ah this isnt the same issue im having then. MIne does just cut out dash lights on and no speedo or rev counter.
-
What are the relay numbers Alex?
-
Think i said the same in another thread with someone experiencing the same problem - if it was the coil pack surely it would misfire rather then cut out altogether.
-
Been over doing GT5 obviously mate. No seriously, whats wrong with it!?
-
 of course, the Corrado doesnt do cute
