  1. you been on the caffiene Monkey?
  2. sensor on top of the gear box?
  3. dont worry the chap! Temps will be fine in traffic as long as the cooling system is working as it should.
  4. eeeeeeeeeeerrrr YES! The only difference to normal every day driving is the distance. You still get bad road, speed bump and idiots where ever you normally park and drive it. Chains will be fine at 116k! TAKE IT! :D Plus - how many hours of sitting in the corsa wishing you were in the VR?
  5. All Corrados are future classics! :D But yeah id have to agree with tandino. Unless the Storm is in better nick etc then any 'normal' VRs you've seen then i dont see the advantage. Just try to find the best example VR you can regardless if its a Storm or not :D
  6. Also check the anti roll bar isnt knocking due to worn rubbers.

    camber

 Jim your avatar! HA! I wont ask why Toad looks so suprised. Sorry off topic! Lewis camber, toe, caster will all be checked.. if they do the job correctly.
  8. Im not sure of prices. But Weitec are a favoured make or koni shocks with H&R springs being another favourite (had this setup myself and found them very good ride). By the way KADVR is selling a set of Wietec coilovers for £500.
  9. Yeah it does seem they've gone one complete circle. Though lets not forget safety has improved alot since the 80's. I quite like the idea of the turbo's being reintroduced :D
  10. My first set of coilovers were a set of V-Maxx which cost about £350 - ok not as cheap as them but still the cheaper end of the market. Compared to the KWs i replaced them with they are worlds apart imo. The ride on the KWs are firm but well composed and certainly not unbearable on our terribly bumpy roads. However the V-Maxx were noticably harder and i found them bouncy on normal roads. The quality didnt look bad on the v-maxx to be honest, but i didnt keep them long enough to find out how long they lasted. I can only say that i understand people are on a budget, but if you have little to spend then go for a spring shock set up, which will allow you to get a better setup for your money. Rather then getting a cheap set of coilovers. my 2ps.
  11. By the way the analog dash gauge is the water and the digital temp gauge is the oil. 110 for oil is fine when on a spirited run and/or hot weather / traffic etc My temps are same as Chris' but the water can read about 85-95 depending if im in traffic or not. Yours sound normal to be honest
  12. sorry i suppose that doesnt necessarily mean much. I meant the motorway figures really. So do you get around 22 around town?
  13. That long!? I'd save your money mate, as said they wont last long.
  14. i wouldn't worry, my MFA2 average is 22.9  The figures seem to differ quite alot from owner to owner.

    help

I can hear the Jailor approaching. Try the 'suppliers' forum instead of the 'parts for sale' section  Whats the actual problem? Have you got any local garages to you that would be willing to take the task on? There's plenty of posts on the sunroof fix and what breaks and how to replace, but imo is a daunting tasks :?
  18. I suppose it could happen with an exhaust too, but not sure tbh. By the way Heatwrap quietens the manifold noise down. :D sorry not much help to you Joey.
  19. What engine is it mate? Sure you mean oil pump? EDIT- what supercharged said. serves me right for typing the message then just watching tv without pressing submit
  20. ^^^ Yeah definately the grey and red.. always looks good on a dark car. :D
  21. I expect an F1 car is poor below 3k rpm, but I wouldn't say it had "underwhelming performance"! I agree, but then 3k on a F1 car is more the equivalent to 500rpm on a normal car.. But the phrase, "underwhelming performance" never passed my lips. I said it felt sluggish under 3k and at 3k it felt alot more lively and as i said im running heavy wide wheels on the rear ;-) really must get rid of them to be honest.
  22. I've just got new topmounts and bearings and can confirm all the bearing is black plastic.
  23. To be fair i am running wheels that are quite heavy... well the rears anyway. But i do stick by my 3k rpm comment.
  24. I dunno, the car feels a little sluggish under 3k rpm. But imo you can notice the car get more lively once the revs hit 3k rpm.
