  1. yeah that's what I'm on about! The pads just seem very rigid and hard to move with them fitted, can they be removed?? If they move thats when they squeak. Though if they really are that tight, just try filing them down a bit.
  2. Good call on the MDF... OR get a stealth shelf :D
  3. You have rubbish arch gap and need to go lower???
  4. Well....hmmm.......... IT PASSED WITH FLYING COLOURS    No advisors either :D Check these emission figures out - CO % - max = 0.30 car = 0.22 HC ppm - max = 200 car = 17 :D :D :D idle CO % - max =0.50 car = 0.06 Well happy for another year at least :D wallpaper - how did you MOT go?

  6. :notworthy: Nice one Shaun, good to see it being saved and not broken for parts.
  7. Has this problem just occurred? Or is it possible that the stat was stuck open and took ages to get up to temp (hence why you replaced) now its working normally due to new stat?
  8. I was waiting for that pic to make an appearance Rob :D
  9. the vibes really do honk for the money. i have some vibe slick 693's in mine and even just off the head unit the sound very nice and go loud if required - were only like 40 notes aswell! They're the same ones i have chap. Got them from Halfrauds and were half on sale too. Much better then the Kenwoods that i had fitted before. Plus they done have those horrible metal spade connectors which come on many other speakers. They fatigue after a while and fall off, which happened to the Kenwoods.
  10. Yeah you get the wiring with the speakers. But to be honest id be inclined to just get some better gold cable rather then use the thin sh!te wiring your get with speakers. Oh and ive just got a pair of vibe 6x9s £60 and they are bl00dy good quality.. not amped either (bar the stereo amp).
  11. No biggie dude. :D I just thought i was going mad, as it changed between me reading it and then replying.[/quote:j17y4sje] haha! You're not going cenile. :D

  15. Bit of a plug for Philuk - if you have those metal ramps Phil (philuk) can sell you some ramp extension to help lowered cars get onto the ramps.
  16. Changed the front top mounts and bearings and gave the girl an oil change.. its purring like a cat. : Oh and found the nearside sill near the door hinge has rusted a bit and lifted the paint :( hope it doesnt spread too much before i can get it sorted out. :( Left car at garage for MOT tomorrow (nail biting times :-/ ) and geometry setting up again

  21. Well its that time of year again... the dreaded MOT! (flash of lightening and roll of thunder) :? Its going into the garage tomorrow aft for the MOT doing on Friday. The only thing that needed replacing last year, which doesnt seem so long ago i might add, was a NSR solid brake pipe replacing. With no advisories :D So fingers crossed it goes just as well if not better this year! :D Tomorrow im fitting new front top mounts and bearings tomorrow and also going to do an oil change (which im looking forward to doing ... am i sad  ? ) and getting the geometry set back up whilst its in for the MOT. Wish me luck!
