Im going to retract my first suggestion and go with the mischeavious otter.
-
Hmmmmm  Meth - which pin went on top/bottom? I didnt notice the pins different when i took my brakes apart, so theres a chance i put the pins back the wrong way round.

As Fla said check the vent under the scuttle panel. theres also 2 drain holes on both wings under the scuttle panel. Mine were that blocked with dirt and leaves that it filled with water and im talking an inch deep :?

Cheers for the pics Colin :notworthy: I managed to get the metal clip off that holds the wire in place - whilst laying on my head  The flap seems to move freely without the wire attached so i took the wire out of the dash. I had bent it slightly whilst trying to get the loop of the wire off the plastic lever but found that it was more bent then i had made it... so, new wire time and it had a little resistance towards the end of it near the loop! Simple fix to be honest, just a little fiddly and i will have air to the windscreen in no time  I believe these are aroudn £15 from the dealers, is that for all 3 or just the one?

They look like they can be fitted either side. They look symmetrical.
-
Lowering springs on standard shocks wouldnt be advised mate, the shocks wont last long at all.
-
Ah sorry i misunderstood what you meant. Is that with the ignition on or off? Are the constant and switched power cables the correct way round. (red and yellow wires) EDIT - as above

When i fitted my sony HU, i had to buy a ISO adaptor which allowed the 2 ISO blocks in the car to be plugged in. Then these lead to the one block which went into the back of the HU. Halfords sell the adaptors.

Isnt there a hole on the front for such occassion as this, where you can stick a pin or paper clip through. Do you think that would help?
-
Top mounts - And now Wishbone bush sleeves, do i need them??

Irwin Bolt grippers i found were the things to use to get the carrier bolts out - may have to use a extension bar too. -
ah yes you were after them werent you. Yeah they're better :D 8)
-
You were going to use the pressure washer on them?? :nono: Good thing you noticed them before you set off though, bar one.
-
New wheels? The wheels you have on look sweet, especially now you've dropped it.
-
Hmmm i dont think they're side specific. They MAY have a different part number for each side though, you know what car manufacturers are like. If you dont get a difinative answer i'll take a look tomorrow as i have a brand new carrier sat in the garage.

Supercharged J - How did you remove the trim of the hand brake without removing the handbrake handle? Does the handbrake handle pull off towards the front of the car, was trying to do that yesterday and it wont budge! :bad-words: -

No they wont rub, not quite low enough. So really no point in getting any arch work done. I guess as long as it passes the MOT ok, i'll just hope PC Plod doesnt take too much interest. :?

Critical_Mass replied to Riley's topic in Engine Bay

CF F1 Fantasy League 09 -Final results...who won, who lost?
Critical_Mass replied to The_Dude's topic in General Car Chat
Yeah peoples choices are never going to be as varied as say the fantasy premier league. Its not too late to catch up, just a few good choices will help you catch up :D Season has only just began, besides im predicting things will get stirred up once the other teams have developed their cars more. Which is expected to be around the Spanish GP... only 2 races away - whats that, 2-3 weeks? -
I think thats the cable for the foot and face vents. The cable for the windscreen vents go between the central face duct and the speedo instrument panel.
-
Hmmmmm, i'll have to see how it is when i get it back on the road. Cant you get camber 'spacers' (cant remember actual name of them), to straighten the rears up a bit? At the moment im thinking that the wheels could be more hassle then they're worth.

Removed the centre console of the dash and instrument cluster, trying to see if i can get to the windscreen vents. Realised it may be a bigger task then i thought - dash out job. :(
