  4. You can do that Ruggy, but to get to the point of being able to slide the bumper forward would still involve doing everything that David has said to do. You'd probably get away with not removing the lights to get to the wiring connections for the indicators and fogs. So really you may as well just remove it completely. Not that there's a bolt on the inside of the arch, under all the underseal, which means the arch liner has to come out - this tucks behind the trailing edges of the bumper.
  5. Kev what you describe there is exactly how it is. My front engine mount was replaced due to this jerk, but didnt sort it. The rears showed no sign of movement and arent that old anyway. Will scan my car just in case. But dont think it'll come up with anything. Could the adjuster on the throttle body for the cable affect things? Throttle position sensor? Pete - apologies thought you were running standard mounts.
  6. I dont know if this is associated with the jerk, but when i try to go at a constant speed and RPM, if feels like something is juddering around under the enginer bay. Making me feel the need to accelerate or de-accelerate. its an odd one to explain. Peter - vibratechic mounts wont get rid of the vibration, they're stiffer so if anything will increase vibration.

  8. Possibly, but the width can affect the tyre wall. You may be able to get away with profile 40 on 215s but check a tyre calculator via google to see how much it'll put the speedo out with each profile for 215s. But its def 40 profile for 205s
  9. Nice wheels :D You'll want 45 profile, with 205s at least.

  12. Damn it, i need clocks mine have a life of their own and dont always work or stop working whilst driving. 2nd dibs if Ste pulls out. Matt - do you have the bolts for the throttle body. One of mine is rounded and cant get it out now. Will take all 4 if you can hold onto them for me for a couple of weeks. Same applies to the clocks

  14. Spotted heading back from Vanfest in Great Malvern tonight at about 7:15. Dark coloured - Black i think. Reg ending in GVP headed off the M1 northbound onto the Nottingham/Riply slip road. I was in a Black polo i beeped whilst along side but you didnt realise it was at you.
  15. Yeah Lucas i wouldnt drive it. As Danny said you'll get dirt and grit in the joint.
  16. Fit some wind deflectors. They look good and probably will stop any whistling. My gfs Lupo does it... no trim missing or anything, just a characteristic.

  18. Yeah thats a point it prob would be cheaper to have it refurbished over here. Its not a daily car so i can live without a steering wheel for a week. What did you do to get the arches that clean? Got to say your Corrado looks immaculate. Love it, its so clean and doesnt look like there's a mark on it.

  20. Axcel - where was the steering wheel from. Looks nice and the leather on mine is starting to wear.
