    Not the O ring on the below is a flat profile not a round profile.

    Spotted, black rado, not sure of flavour, had multi spoke alloys on. Parked on Scarborough front at about 4-5pm, next to a pearlescent MG ZR. Only saw the rado in the rear view mirror.

    Ok so what other options do we have? Dont want a solid mount. Im guessing just a standard rear mount then. How long do the rears (good quality) mounts last. Only had all 3 changed about 3 years ago. ~40k miles.

    I did for the last 5-6 years. But about 3 months ago bought a passat for a daily so i dont have to use the Corrado as a daily. Especially in the winters. To be honest i do miss the Corrado, but not as much as i would if it wasnt on the road at all - least i know i can still get in it and go for a drive.

    Could you disconnect the cat from the centre pipe and disconnect the down pipe from the mani and twist the whole thing to get to the top nut. have a look underneath mate, it maybe possible to slide the downpipe from underneath, i cant remember exactly. I was saying it probably isnt the case that it can be, just not 100%

    Problem is no doubt the usless fck will just say he was infront all along. Unless you have a witness? Hence the need for a camera.

    This is why im looking at getting a camera for the car. Had a my 8v Corrado written off because a moron in a van decided to slam the anchors in the middle of a duel carriageway, on becuase the guy behind him pished him off earlier - i went into the back of the car he did it to. Police werent interested and i got the blame from the insurance.

    Is it just the nuts that you cant undo? Remind me is it a seperate nut and thread, or is the thread part of the cat or down pipe. If seperate, could you just cut the nut off? Tried a large pole to get more leverage - i know one bolt will be hard to get to as it'll sit on top nearest the underside of the car.

    The6 branch will fit with a bit of maneuvering, but you can always loosen the engine mounts and jack the rear up to create more space. Not sure if the downpipe will slide from underneath, but froim memory at a guess id say no.
