no no not at all. Just wasnt sure if the longer locking nuts were mcgard or some other brand. Want to get some mcgards as i hear they're the best locking nut. i currently have some grayston locking nuts which look impossible to get a socket on but dont know how they compare to the mcgards. Anyway, sorry i'll let you have your for sale thread back mate ;) Cheers

Longer Mcgards?

When i rang Admiral they wouldnt cover modified cars??? Seems to be inconsistancy :?

Whats different about the black edition mcgards? Can you get extended locking nuts - im goign to be using 10mm spacers too and want longer locking nuts too.

HIC wouldnt budge on my renewal, was £10 more than i was paying and wouldnt/couldnt beat it. Went to Greenlight and they halved it. Though i have no agreed valuation :( Dont HIC and Adrian Flux have the same underwriters or are the same company?

Hi all, My girlfriends sister has just bought a polo and ripped the aftermarket stereo out and replaced it with a VW factory one bought off ebay. Now, the CD player works on it, as does the radio HOWEVER the radio will only pick up ONE station. Ive noticed this is because the radio will only scan from 70.0hz to 90hz - it then goes back to 70. This IS on FM on MW it doesnt pick up any - but more bothered about FM. I thought it was an ariel issue, but then why would it still only scan such a short range?

A thing to check with the G60 specifically, is the condition of the charger, check for receipts of its last service and by whom. Still maybe worth getting is serviced by yourself anyway for piece of mind. The wiki guide is def worth looking at. Good luck in your search :D

Yeah probably is the case. What about the hazards though??

To be honest, 90% of the time it is just a sensor or one of the ABS rings on the back of the disc has moved or something. Best to get VAGCOM plugged in to find out which one and hope its a front sensor as the rears are more expensive.

I ruled out the indicator relay as the hazards work and the lights flash with the alarm. Unless they work on a different relay :shrug:

You'd have to go quiet dark, light tinting wouldnt block much. Dark tints look chavvy imo. What about getting some of those blinds?
