Would be worth checking the indicator stalk isnt the fault. Try swapping the stalk from your other VR see if that works.

Quick question guys. Whats the lowest load rating you'd fit to a VR? Think ive been sent the wrong tyres! Grrr Been sent 80V -
Its the same jerk you get when the front engine mount is worn but its been changed about 6 months ago.

Yes, Jims old G certainly is a fine example. Looks perfect in that pics, alloys suit it really well and height is spot on too. What made you sell that Jim? -
Locked.

They were 205/45s and will be swapped fro 195/45s. I'll run the 195s for a while and if there's room i'll put 205s on even maybe just on the back. -
Yeah i heard its ruled out for easter weekend but could still happen.

Thats from America, not sure it will be the UK regs. Not saying it wont, but def check before ordering.

Yeah im not sure how much it does either, but it must do something. In could it be the throttle cable isnt adjusted correctly. Any ideas how far down the cable the pin should sit?

Went for a sset of 195 khumo KU31s in the end. Noticed with 195s the arch to wheel gap looks greater than the 205s. -
Ok cheers Roger :salute:

I'll fire some Carb cleaner into it whilst running. Wasnt sure if id burn the wire inside. I hear what youre saying Jim, but knowing how expensive they are i dont want to replace it if its not the cause.

i believe it was specific to the C, but bought it off StueyB off here.

I have a Miltek sports cat on my VR - no issues passing the MOT emission test.

Well the idle is fine, its not rough, but yeah a lurch at low throttle openings is there. I'll strip the ISV and give it a clean along with the MAF plug connectors. i hope the MAF itself isnt the problem though! I'll try unplugging it whilst its running and see if it makes a difference. Can rule it out or not then. Is the connector on the side of the cylinder head the cylindrical oen on the right next to the coilpack and aux water pump? can you clean the MAF with anything, carb cleaner etc?

Going to have a set of 6 spoke ATS wheels up for sale soon- 16x7.5j. " wheels have brand new, about 2 weeks old Uniroyal Rainsports and the other 2 are toyo proxes TR-1s with plenty of tread on them. The wheels could do with a refurb though, but will scrub up very well. i needed 3mm spacers on the fronts, which i can provide if needed - they are 5x100, with a centre bore hole the correct size, but they're not actually "hubcentric", in the respect that they dont have a lip on them. But do sit on the hub. pics - http://www.the-corrado.net/showthread.php?49491-Gaz-s-Bordeaux-Pearl-VR-NEW-WHEELS! Note this is when they were first fitted. Not after much for them - only really want to recoup the price of the uniroyal plus a tiny bit more for the other wheels and tyres, but not much.
