  1. ah yeah never noticed haha. Im used to MODS having Orange text in their avatars.
  2. Who you referring to? not noticed any new mods?
  3. Hi all, Got a possible issue. Noticed a fluid mark on the floor right under the drivers rear tyre. Had a quick look round with a torch and cant feel or see fluid on or around the caliper, or even on the coilover. But there's a grease mark on the outside of my tyre??? doesnt smell like brake fluid, it has v little or no smell actually and is def a greasey fluid. I thought maybe the coilover was leaking, but as said, when ive got under the car with a torch i cant see any fluid. HOW would suspension fluid get on the outside of hte tyre only (outer tyre wall). Thinking that corner of the car looked slightly lower then the other rear, i turned the car round and still seems to sit slightly lower. Do leaking coilovers sit lower then normal? I bounced that corner too and its creaking, again is creaking a sign of a knackered coilover? The coilovers are only about 3 years old, but i know roads in Britain can really batter the suspension? Can the suspension still be knackered even if its not leaking, im not sure why its creaking? Going to have a look tomorrow. Any advice from anyone? IF it turns out the coilover is shot, can they be bought seperately? Do i have to replace in pairs?
  4. KW coilovers are very good, not sure about the springs and shock sets. Cant see why they wouldnt also be as high quality also. They do seem cheap though, as the Weitecs are the cheaper version of the KWs and dont they go for around the £350 mark? Still if theyre KWs they're KWs so being cheap isnt a bad thing.
  5. Heater lights are ****e they are v v dim.
  6. Payment sent mate. Nice one mate, good work! cant wait to receive the switch.
  7. Can appreciate how you feel mate, if people wont sell unless it sells for a certain price why not put a reserve on it.
  8. Hi Neal, if im truthful i was getting a little worried. Cheers for the response, i look forward to receiving it. Thanks Gaz
  9. which relays are buzzing, numbers? If the relay is buzzing it may need replacing. Is it turning over but not firing? Could be the fuel pump relay isnt working causing no fuel to get through.
  10. Where you get the lances from, got a pressure washer sat doing nothing with no lance, so a snow foam lance would be ideal. Are they standard fitments?
  11. maybe worth getting someone to move steering left and right whilst you lay underneath. teh knocking could be the wishbone bushes. Wasnt torque steer you had was it?
  12. i always read thread titles like that as being saracastic  you have to dont you.... Def get it up in the air asap. Though i would expect vibrations through the steering wheel and all sorts of knocking noises. If you know top mounts are shot, get them changed though.
  13. i dont know on both the questions, im not sure, im speculating. They're not ALL orange are they?
  14. Would imagine you could swap the mechanism for a golf part or such like.
  15. 16s all the way for me, 15s on the rado look a little on the small side. 17s fill the arches ok, but compromise the ride. 16s, as is always quoted, is the compromise between the 2.
  16. Your wallet wont let you leave! muhahahaaaaaaa
  17. haha thats brilliant to hear haha.
  18. 54k, nice low mileage :D how much you pay for it, if i may ask. Nice name
  19. ah Vasaline, good tip.
  20. Definately Laura. Unless you're running loads of power, id just go for a standard clutch
  21. He ended up spraying some sort of white grease (possibly silicone based spray) in the end of the leads then reattached to the coil pack. Its been fine ever since, but i suspect the coilpack could need replacing at some point in the future.

    Car wanted

Take a look in the cars for sale section ;) There's a 2litre valver for sale in there for starters
  23. Had this a few weeks back. The RAC came out and he said that it was the leads that werent sealing against the coilpack and causing the spark to arch. Though im not convinced, I would have said coilpack.
  24. Yeah that seems like madness not to change the clutch when the chains were done. Easy enough to do the clutch whilst chains are being done.
