A rule of thumb on a healthy but stock (160 bhp) G60 would yield around 15% Gains on a 68mm pulley/Eprom.

Is you microswitch actually being activated ? you may need to adjust it slightly. -

unscrew the old one and replace it with the new one. then reset you idle when the cars up to temp

That happened to me. trouble is VW dont sell them, off to the breakers time for you mate Yes they do - there around £6

Yes they do Kev - If you went for the (wet Filled) v3's we can specify your exact requirments and the Race engineers (who also build al the vwR Coilovers) will make these by hand for you offering you the ride you require.

How did he test it ? Put a multimeter across the pins and check the contiunity - You will not be able to buy this part new from vag unfortunatly. You Would be best to source a 2nd hand throttlebody -
Kev - You knows that not exactlly true as you have first hand info on the H&R's and you are yet to sample some of the KW's these are a completly Differant ball game to the fk's ride-quailty

When my Belt Snapped on the Passat it was cheaper to buy a new engine. That was without paying for labour also so be warned..

It would be cheaper to by a wind back tool and have the satisfaction of doing them yourself than it would be to take it to Quick Fit phil.. Im Sure they will have one in halfords tomorow ..
