If you decide to go down this route remove the front engine mount then support engine with a jack and lower slightly to allow the front of the engine to come foward - this will make lots of room at the back to allow easy removal. Darren

They Just look like new aftermarket mounts to me not bonrath ones. They are non VR top mounts also

There is also a good tyre fitters in littlehampton where John Mitchell (16vg60) used to work that will make a cracking job on setting up your geometry.

Whats the mileage on the engine ? Sounds like it could be breathing a little heavily.

i would only recomend hubcentric spacers which retain the hub location

also did you happen to check to see if the bottom hose got warm ? could we worth investagating the thermostat also.

have you removed the 13mm bolt that is just below the 2 allen bolts on the right hand side. It hold the steel strut in place.

You remove the 6 allen bolts, then the oil feeds. There is also one 13mm bolt and the pulley to remove and it will just lift out. Any problems Give us a call and we can talk you through it.

If you take it back you will look a little silly as they have given you what you asked for. For your information i use the branch every day to supply us with all our oe products and they are one of the best i have used. Any query's you may have ask to speak to trevor in the parts dept as he knows his corrado's and vag in generalvery very well and rarley even has to look on ekta for the part numbers. I have not seen any mistakes from them yet.

The belts are definatly not to tight 120xl is an industry standard belt and the size does NOT vary mate.

what does it say on the bottle and which caffyns did you use ?
