Toothed belt conversion will elimate any belt slipping we quite often see quite nice gains right across the rev range even where you didnt think the belts were previouslly slipping. Go have a look around where the plastic cover is on the charger,If there is lots of rubbery dust around there you are suffering from some quite serious belt slipping which could very well be the 5.5k dip.

you are 110% fucking crazy... and dont put any duct tape near this one ehh.... you did good though with the conversion so keep up the good work boys

Riley, you need to measure from the centre of the wheel arch to the floor so a good bench mark can be achieved... my passat is 575mm / 22.5" from the floor to the centre of the front arch..(off topic a bit i know )
-
here is mine ... -65mm on the spring platforms. unfortunatly i can no longer measure the height from the floor to the top of the arch as i cut it up...
-
not a bad result.. did you happen to get an afr plot also ?

There are a few differant ways to carry out this conversion the only thing they all have in common is that the block has to be bored out but even the size of the re-bore vary's. Best advice is to talk to as many companys as possible before making your descision as they all have differant methods on increasing the cc's
