I am running a fmic with a 68mm pully, ported charger and sns chip. had 202bhp I think about a year ago. Am just going to have a look in my members gallery as am pretty sure I put a graph up on there.. Back in a mo :lol:

Yeah have rewrapped the wiring and its helped but not alot. I have quite a bad case of tinworm on the battery tray as well. :( Could do with some shiny bits. Have lost one of the black top mount covers as well so she does look a bit shabby........ :?

carbon canister gone as its bound to be shot after 170,000 miles and leaves a handy hole for air to get to the filter. Will at some point fit a snorkle from the front bumper up to it. Boost return, I have been told and read here that it givs no real benifits and that you have to remember to lube the charger. I am the most forgetful person in the world and would prob cause it to disintigrate................ :(

That was my thoughts as well. Will take a pic tommorow and stick it up. Am also looking for suggestions on ways to tidy up the engine bay so will kill 2 birds with one stone and all that malarky :D

Just painted mine black last week......... looks loads better than the flakey silver and oil effect I had going on before. :lol: Unfortunally as you said, I want to get at the rest now...... :?

Ive got the same problem have had the car up on ramps and been over the underside as well. Am starting to go mad. Think taking out all the interior this summer and putting felt strips round all the edges is on the list of things to do this summer.............. :(

I had real problems fitting mine. Wouldnt fit flush on the drivers side above the headlight. HAd to do some trimming to might it fit. Tbh it still isnt right. :(

Hi all. Another one of those niggling little problems that have been with the old girl since I bought her is the fuel gauge. I have tried a searsh and cant see a solution to this. When the tank reads empty it only takes £40 to fill her so I know that there is about £20 left in her. And the gauge reads just under full. Is there a way to reset the gauge so when I fill her up it will register this and set the needle right? Cheers Tim

Giving one of these a go. Not really the look I was wanting but for 20 euros might be worth a punt. I can always put my tatty old one back on if I dont like it :lol:

I have looked everywhere and all I can find is really naff looking ones. Does anyone know if any of the current vw's with 5 speed have illuminated knobs. Am sure I could get one from a srappy and make it fit :D

Nice new flashy vw website online with a time line thing showing the history of the company. Apart from it being totally wrong there is no mention of the corrado on it at all. Are they trying to eradicate us from history.......will the parts suddnly dry up over night...............is it a conspiricy.............. :lol: :lol: :lol:

Took off rocker cover, Cleaned it and painted black. looks much better than the flacky silver look I had going on before :lol: :lol:

I am lucky to get 300 miles out of a full tank. But most of it is commuting 12 miles each way to work with a heavy foot. Shouldnt really as it is not really enough time to let the engine warm up. but never take her over 3000 rpm. On a long journy will get about 350-400 out of a tank.

Made up new looms for the fog lights as according to VW they are part of the loom on an early car...................... But not on the late.. Then since I was in a wiring mood started to tidy up the wiring in the bay

had a butchers on the dvla site and it dosnt say anywhere that i can see that you have to have a garage name on it and says that the euro sign etc is optional. Its just the font spacing and sizing they are looking at. http://www.dvla.gov.uk/media/pdf/leaflets/v796.pdf So hopefully I should be able to order some plain plates from here............. http://www.demonplates.com/basket.php Anyone know different? Alright fella. Yup married life is good. I am living in illogan near portreath now. So will have to get up to say hello soon. All has just been a bit hetic. Will have to get some new plates. Just hate the ones with the garage names etc on the bottom. Oh well. Have got away with it for 2 years, Just sods law sue was driving to work in her...... :shock:
