pulled my rad, header tank, battery and washer jet bottle out and cleaned that side. gonna put battery in the boot and fit a small washer jet bottle some where else where you cant see it. also picked up my mk1 rad so i can leave my header tank out. getting a tidy bay is a lot harder than i thought.

hi just part way through fitting my twin 40's to my 1.8 16v raddo, i have been trying to tidy up my engine bay as well and was thinking about fitting the really early mk1 rad so i could delete my header tank, could anyone advise me on what to do with the hose from the bottom of the header tank, and has anyone run one of these does it make a difference to the running temp. thanks

sorry for asking a simple question not worked on a vr before, servicing a mates this weekend, to remove the plugs do you have to have a special tool or can you do it with out. if you need a tool would anyone locally lend me their tool inexchange for a couple of beers. thanks.

-
how about a small hole into your head lamp and a rubber gromet with a push fit bulb so the orange flashes from your head lamp.

my mot station said they are not fussed about the side indicators but the number plate looks rubbish so it goes on for an mot.

thanks for the comments. the Engine has just been treated to a set of twin 40 webbers. got all the kit just fitting the new gaskets to the carbs then they will be on and taken for a setup.this should hopefully leave my engine bay looking minimal. hope they are on for the south corrado meet.

hi i have just purchased a full twin 40 set up for my valver it has a facet fuel pump with it but i was just curious if anyone knew weather the standard pump was up to it or not. does anyone also know what sort of power that should run on a standard engine apart from 4 branch and full system. thanks for any help.
-
is this gonna be for every day use? what sort of power out put?? does tuning a original engine not appeal?
