I have not owned a corrado for years now so these can go from the shed. They have legal tyres fitted to them and would be ideal winter wheels or ideal for refurb. the wheels are average condition with a few scratches and light curb marks. sadly one center cap is missing. these wheels need a refurb but hopefully the price reflects that. 2 tyres are on the lmit 1 tyre is scrap and 1 tyre is fine. (i do have some other tyres i could supply they dont have much life but could be bought very cheap) tyre size of fitted ones are 225/40/18 2 wheels have curb marks but are not in bad condition the other 2 had the laquer peel off which has made a mess of the finish. schmidt modern lines For sale are my 16x9 et15 schmidt moderline wheels I bought them about 2 months ago with the intention of running them on my mk3 golf but that never happened! The day after i bought them i had 4 brand new falken tyres fitted to them! 195/40/16 which give an awsome stretch. This have not seen the road not even had the weight of a car on them! (Old tyres in pictures) The wheels are in fairly good condition, one has undergone a refurb at some point which has been done respectfully well! It is ever so slightly different finish to the others but when on car not noticable! I do not have a picture seperate of this wheel as currently stored in a friends loft lol Can get one if needed or of course viewing welcome! These have cost me ?650 to this stage and they have never done a rotation in my ownership. Looking to return best part if not all of that. Corrado vr6 Blue Cheap Aqua blue VR6 corrado, needs a little attention but will make for a very nice car after a bit of love. no MOT, failed on 2 ball joints (car supplied with new wishbones and ball joints), exhaust blow from center box and thats it. Bodywork the over all condition of the car is pretty good it does have a few marks expected for age and does have some lacquer peel on the o/s wing. head lights are in good condition as are the indicators and fogs (fitted with yellow film) Interior has been removed and carpets cleaned, the seats may benefit at some point but are still very usable and unripped. The dash requires the center section as previous owner was careless upon removing the stereo. Running gear very smooth drive, engine is nice and quiet. The gear selector (lever) has broken this was done trying to remove a god awful aftermarket gear knob but this must be a prime opportunity to fit a quick shift. Wheels are standard speedlines that are painted satin black, fitted with 4 good tyres. Hi i have built up these bits for my corrado which i have recently sold (to be old and do stuff to the house ) i have an ABV (2.9) block bored out and fitted with 83.5mm (making it a 3ltr) wossner high compression 11:1 forged pistons. it has also got ARP rod bolts. there is a set of 268 cams to compliment the bottom end, there is a standard head ready to be worked and a whole load of gaskets and filters with a box of ancillaries also there is a gear box to donor the 3.6 final drive into the vr box. along side all of this you'll need to stop so there is a set of audi tt 312mm callipers and carriers. the short of it is with a bit of head work you will have a 230bhp high comp monster which will accelerate like no ones with the final drive. i am after £830 ono and will throw in the vr subframe and wishbones. located near portsmouth, happy to answer questions 07803410211, could possible arrange delivery or meet. i think these new kits are self lubricating so no need for a return to the sump. Also reading the ad the long pipe with blue ends is what relocates the air filter to the passenger side. lovely bit of kit!!! GLWS

lovely car and colour (must be something about the colour i only owned mine a short while before it needed a headgasket but now love it) that headlight loom made a good difference (got me thinking now lol)

well i have now been enjoying the car for a few months now and its running like a dream, no massive up dates, i have laid down some sound deadening and given it a few deep cleans. i think plans may be to keep it simple and now i have picked up a daily i can keep this for best at the weekends or sunny days which really excites me. its desperate for a new clean induction kit, i also cant decide weather to go debadged grille or not. other than that i would like to poly bush the whole thing and may be a set of cams but that wont be any time soon. thanks for looking adam

i have for sale a set of 288's this includes discs, pads which are 3k old (bit of surface rust where they were in my shed, would clean off easy), calipers in gwo with hoses and carriers, this is everything you need and these will sit lovely behind the standard 15's or any other wheels. £60 will post for £15 or located near portsmouth

that seems very interesting, never gave 6 speed a thought. Fishwick or anyone with the FD fitted would you be so kind as to post a few 'at this speed in this gear i am doing these revs' only as mine is a daily and i have a pretty good curise to work, if this is not effected to much then this will be my christmas ho

thanks for all the comments, is there a how to or anything i can read? i tried to have a chat to a loal gearbox specalist but he did not seem very keen to have a go. i have sourced a G60 box now. the bit that worries me is he talked about shimming parts up and going on about ratio's. i said that people have done it and rave about it but he was not as enthusiastic as i was. i am happy to do jobs on my car (mech engineer by trade and minded) but have never played with a gearbox and the unknown concerns/intrigues slightly. Is this a home job? thanks again for any info.

i hear a few people saying if you put this in a vr box it makes a hell of a difference? what box is this gear out of? and also what are the down sides if anyone has any personnel experience that would be nice to hear. many thanks

i am looking for the cam tool/plate to time up the cams on my vr, the ones i have found on ebay are in germany and have a long postage time. just wondered where you guys and gals got yours from? thanks adam

hi just a quick question i need a whole head set for my car, are there and good places or more importantly any makes or places not to go? there are a few sets on ebay but i always worry they wont have the quality about them? on a side note i am going to do a search but does anyone have to hand a link to a vr head removal guide just so i can have a quick read (dont go out your way i will search as well) many thanks adam

like i said eairlier i had very similar problems to yours, i have checked my manifold every where then got a stethoscope to listen to the lifters, i have finally found it with a bottle of baby talc which showed the blow................. from my head gasket, i have no water oil mix and it was only due to the dust cloud from the talc i spotted this. hope this helps give you some where else to look

well after a few months of enjoying the car i picked up a loud tap, i thought it was a manifold blow but checked everywhere for cracks and nothing. so got the baby talc out today and found the blow, sadly it was from a split in my head gasket!! so looks like that is my next job along with a good clean and new gaskets everywhere.
