sorry i have no pics but on 15inch ronal turbos with 195/50 tyres the centre of my arch from the ground is 54cm front 55cm rear.

hi sorry if this is a common one does anyone in the portsmouth area know of a reliable good bodyshop. or a reliable mate who could show how good their work is and wants a bit on the side. i am after a blow over and my fogs, indicators and number plate recess removed. thanks for any suggestions.

mine had the cheaper supersports (i think) fitted when i got it and they are a very hard ride. would like to get a better quality set some when.

hi i have just fitted a power roar and an early golf 16v ecu to my 1.8 16v. dont know how much difference it has made. it feels like it is better than before but i think this is just me wanting it to feel better because i have done something :lol: . i do have a 50mm inlet manifold coming and need to get a four branch exhaust manifold which should help.

mine is on 15' ronal turbos and coilovers the tops of the tyres are just in the arch (90-100mm??) i have a 90mm splitter it catches every where but it has never damaged. but for ease i use the 50mm which i have no trouble with.

ok will take your word. i was unsure of it cos in your tuning guide you say fit the bigger 50mm one. will leave this thanks.

i will bid on it. yeah if i get it i will let you know. dont know how neatly it will sit on top of the engine with the leads and everything.

hi needing some advice on this inlet manifold on ebay item 4613541846. it is a shortened manifold so the 4 branches have been cut down to next to nothing. what effect would this have on my engine worth getting or not. any advice welcome.

what is the correct torque setting for the rear wheel bearing nut please?

as i drive along and get to about 50 mph i get a wind whistle through the gap between my wing mirror and pillar. just wondered if anyone else got it as i cant have my window down as the sound does my head in. any solutions??

i have a G plate it has does not have electric windows but it does have a sun roof. were there any on an F plate? mine must be fairly early.

long as i dont get left standing i dont mind. what are the power figures of the two? i presume the golf is a little lighter as well.

hi i was wondering if anyone could tell me how my untuned 1.8 16V corrado would stand up against my mates untuned 1.8 8v digifant mk2 golf. he said he should leave me standing just curious. i dont mind if he would cos mine looks better. :lol:

i possibly am selling but my missus has just got a 5 door diesel pug and you cant get much more practical than that. so i am pricing up a few bits and may keep it as i dont want to sell it but thought i had to. will let you know when i decide.

hi possibly gonna get a four branch manifold for my 1.8 16V and was after a bit of advice. is there much difference in performance between the ashley mild steel manifold and the TSR s/s manifold. as there is about a £100 difference. dont want to get ashley one to find should have spent the extra and got the tsr and vice versa. thanks for any help.

the reason i am bothered is i like to be able to go to my car and it start first time with out sitting there cranking it over. i am not on about blasting it down the road when it is cold everyone knows not to do that.

i think my car is lazy and does not like early morning wake ups. it has to crank over a few times before it starts then it will not rev smoothly for about 10 sec then it will run fine all day it has had new plugs, leads, cap , arm has anyone got any ideas it is a 1.8 16V 1990. (may be i should get a job that starts later so i do not have to disturb my car when it is sleeping)
