this looks very smart. i have just got some black suede to do my interior trim bits and roof lining, looks like a good job. did you have any probs with retriming any parts so that i can look out for them when doing mine. thanks

hi just preping my 2.0ltr to replace my 1.8 i am doing the inlet cam mod but is there any gain and does it fit in if i use the KR exhaust cam as well? if it does pay to change that as well what has to be done? please and thankyou for any advice.

hi again just a little update. the car is now ready for it engine bay smoothing, scuttle removal and paint on friday, all the loom is now in side the cabin as one pic shows the dash out and the other is with all the engine loom in as well. the other parts are my interior panels that slowly me, my girlfriend and mate (msh) are covering in suede which should go nicely with the leather. hopefully next week should have a pic of my smoothed rocker cover and some engine parts that i have had polished and then get some pics up when the engine bay is done.

will have a look tomorrow. it starts fine and idles fine. it does not do it if you boot it but if you hold 3k then accelerate it pauses then goes.

Few more pics. the front cross member is on and the rear beam. the leather is in for the time being, as all the carpet has to come up so i can fit all the elec window loom and then fit the leather door cards. it is off to the bodyshop on the 19th to have the bay done. so while thats away i can get on with my engine and covering my interior trim with sude. the car at the bottom is what has taken up my time and thats going tomorrow.

hi this is not for a corrado but i could benifit from your knowledge. we have just put a 2.9 throttle body on my mates 2.8 vr golf. it runs fine but if you hold high revs say 3k then accelerate it dies before picking up, it is like a pause which causes the car to shudder. has any one got any ideas please??? thanks.

hi my car is going back to the body shop on the 19th to have the engine bay painted and a few bits smoothed. i have asked him to remove the scuttle tray as well he said thats fine i would just like it if some one could tell me whats involved is it structual and if removed what welding needs doing? thanks for any advice.

when you hoping to have it trial fitted? are you doing it or are you using an exhaust company?

think a plate is a good idea but like some of the others i would get one that is personel to you, i have brought one that says my daughters name and she can have it when she drives (16 years yet) but you can carry it with you and it means more.
