  1. Thanks  While doing all this stuff I've been randomly getting a cloth and polishing which is why the engine bays clean, it doesn't usually look like that  Henny, my strut brace is an OMP one, and no it doesn't allow me to get the top off! thats why its off at the moment, lol I wish I hadn't posted this thread now, as looking at the pictures are making me want it back even more!!!
  2. I took the corrado off the road about a month or so ago to get the supercharger rebuilt... while it was off the road getting that done I figured i sort some other stuff too (and really wish I hadn't bothered now  ) I should get the car back either this week or next, and it can't come soon enough!! I've been driving around in my spare car (for occations such as this) - my £300 Cavalier. Dear god its slow! and the fact that my flatmate has just bought a 306 Rallye (he got it a few days after the C came off the road!) doesn't help to make the Cav feel any faster either... While the corrado has been off the road I have done: Stage 4 G-Werks Supercharger Rebuild Fitted Oil Cooler Replaced filter with K&N panel filter Removed Air box Snorkel Boost return Mod Removed Carbon Canister Replaced Spark Plugs with W5DPO Changed engine oil for Quantium Silver 10W40 And now I'm respraying my passenger door, and attempting to fit a new alarm... anyone know anything about the clifford concept 300? Anyway just needed to share this info, as I'm really excited about getting my car back... I can't even begin to imagine the frustration and anticipation for you Engine Conversion boys!! 8) Edit: Also if anyone fancies organising a RR day at stealth again I'd love to see what she's now putting out :)
  3. my recently installed oil cooler just peaking out

  6. Bought a set of those exact ones earlier today.. oh and they're brand new, and £20 gets a set of 4 (I asked :)) Meanwhile, I'm quite interested in what difference removing the CC makes to the MPG... I've just done this, but havn't yet tested the mpg?
  7. I always find its difficult to know what you want until you've actually lived with the car for a period of time, rather than just taking it out for a test drive. I love my G60 and don't think i'd change it easily... I love having that low down torque for effortless accelleration. Other cars I driven that I thought I'd like to own after driving them only once or twice, I've realised would actually be very tiring to drive as an everyday car - (my flatmates 306 Rallye, gutless under 4000rpm! but quick after then) Anyway if you do go for this option you shouldn't have any trouble selling your G60 to someone on here!
  8. 8) Looking forward to vids, and tell us where and when it will first be on show, so we can all come along and have a gander at it :D
  9. G60's run hot as standard, but as soon as you do anything to them performance wise, those temperatures seem to shoot up! I'm currently in the process of fitting an oil cooler obtained from G-Werks, after on a run down south where I saw temperatures in excess of 140 C! Although if you really want to know the true temperature of your oil then the MFA isn't the most accurate of measures... its readings actually rise when you turn the lights on (the electrics are over 10 years old!) Like G-Man said, it might be a good idea to fit one just to be on the safe side, and would be definate if you intend to do any more performance modifications to your G60.
  10. its really difficult using photoshop when using a laptop... but here's a couple of efforts...
  11. power claims are true then? if so its a shame he's spent so much money on it... and ended up with that.
  12. Agreed the bonnet vents look daft, but the car is sweet! more...
  13. Does anyone know when this program is going to be shown then? I remember voting for the corrado a couple of months back, using their online servey they'd set up.
  14. Unfortunately I have a '91 G60 same as Blown, so I assume I won't have the right fittings... You did mention you're getting a powerflow... what they like then? Not trying to dismiss Milltek btw, will probs end up getting one of them depending on what I already have (I don't actually know what system is on at the mo  ), but theres a powerflow place quite near to me, so I could get one of them fitted very easily :)
  15. I might have a couple more on my computer at home... I'll post them later tonight :)
  16. cool cheers. but how about the setting up? would I need to take the car to you guys, or Stealth etc?
  17. Very nice, looks great :) Number plate made me laugh.. "G60 4 Me"
  18. Shilakadaddy

    18" or not

I think they look pretty good on Cheesy's C... but without the bodykit, may look a bit oversized. Again just my thoughts too :)
  19. I think I have a Jabba chip in mine... are the SNS chips 'straight out of a box' type things, or do they require setting up properly? I may have to look into getting one of these if they're a lot better.... although my MPG doesn't seem too bad, average 30mpg on the MFA (never actually worked out if its accurate or not tho) Also if the SNS chips don't use a 3.5fpr does this mean they're possibly of lower performance compared to the old ones (I'm sure thats a dumb question... but if someone could explain it? :)) Chris
  20. very nice, love black corrados  German plates look cool too, where du get yours from?
  21. anyone got experience of a Magnex system on a G60? I might be needing a new system soon (well not needing... but u know :))
  22. vauxhall cavalier. Dirt cheap (to buy and to maintain), loads of them around and very spacious.. the boots huge! This is what I bought as a temp car before I got the corrado... and I still have it, never had any problems :)
  23. sorry don't like the latest one. I'm reminded of those cartoon breast pictures you (or least I...) used to draw when u were little... gotta love my childish mind, its the first thing I thought when looking at that pic
