The MATRIX can be bypassed with copper pipe mate. Not sure about the valve???

If you don't earn that much and are using it as a daily driver, do you really want a corrado vr6? Not the most reliable or cheap to fix car to be honest mate.

Lovely cars. The most gorgeous warbly exhaust note ever! Don't think they're particularly reliable though mate, and hard/expensive to maintain as already mentioned.

Hmmm.... What condition are they in mate? Any pics? And how much would you be after for them? Sorry to be dumb but is that rear sides as well?

Yeah thats what I was thinking. Thats why I thought I might have to make some sort of cover or something. What about 'softening' any sharp bits with foam pads or something? Probably just a case of taking it out and identifying all the offending areas and go from there.

Doesn't sound like this is the same as your problem, but I once had loads of oil over the back of the car which I assumed was coming from the exhaust. Turned out to be an oil seal on the bottom of the engine somewhere that was p*ssing all the way under the car at speed. I reckon yours is over-fuelling cos of a knackered lamda though as said above.

I'm just trying to make a proper fun car mate :) I think I'm going to buy a cheap diesel estate for 'everyday' use (when anyone else needs a lift) and turn the rado into a hooning tool. Was thinking about eventually junking the whole dash and instrument 'cowling' etc and getting a stack display of some sort. Not too sure how expensive/tricky that would be yet though, as I want to keep it road legal obviously :)

Right so I'm just about ready to start stripping out the interior of my black rado - the plan is to remove everything that isn't needed to remove as much weight as possible. Interior, dash, any motors I can junk, etc. I also plan to brace it up and maybe put a half cage in. Question: what do i do with all the sh*te behind the dash? I want to keep it just road legal, so will need to keep basic functions and blown air etc. Do you think its possible to 'tidy' up everything behind the dash or do you think i'll need to make some sort of 'cover'? To be honest the rest of the interior is going to be completely trimless so i'm not bothered what it looks like. I'm more concerned about safety/mot etc. And how hard would it be to change leccy windows to manual winders? Cheers :) And Happy New Year!

Surely a mount would clunk in all gears? And that wouldn't explain the lack of performance...... How's the clutch? Its the thing you have to press when you move the stick shift thingy ;)

Excellent. I had a similar experience recently at a tyre place - all the guys crowded round the car and were full of praise even though it's a bit of a shed if the truth be told (i've owned it for a year now ;) ) And in contrast, a similar sounding bloke in a BM was right on my rear bumper the other day so I floored it and left him for dead. He caught up and did everything in his powers to stop my car and get me out for a beating!! Some people are SOOOO touchy! :)

Mate you need to slow down a bit - 8 posts in 3 years!!!! :) If your tracking is way out it can make the stearing feel very light and generally odd. For example after kerbing it.
