Plenty of people do run reds on the road but they just take a bit of warming up afaik. Persnonally I hate EBC pads.

Howdy Anyone know how much the above items cost? Just trying to work out a budget. And what about gaskets? You can get a head gasket and bolts set on the gay for 65 squid. Is that reasonable? Is there anywhere I can find out prices other than actually speaking to one of the robots at the stealers? Cheers

Kev - it feels like birthday, christmas and easter all rolled into one mate :) No synthetic eh? What should I use? Never had a new engine before! How much of the dreaded running in/driving like a hairdresser will I have to do?

No scratches mate - worry not. It's my 3rd child as far as I'm concerned :) It certainly will be - i've had my fair share of engine woes so it's gonna be lovely. And yeah, I'm going to go for a recon gearbox and either peloquin or quaife diff.

Have you read the comments in that link??!! Looks like a fine mash-up of Scirocco and Corrado and I’m also pleased how they tried to keep the styling the same Eh???? Doesn't look anything like a rado or a rocco if ya ask me......
