Yes yes yes - well done everyone - a car can pop even when it's not overfuelling. But the guy did say it pops regularly as if it doesn't normally. It was just a fekin suggestion! I might just add that my blue vr has an intermittant overfuelling problem and it definately pops a lot more when its doing it.

Well I'd say its overfuelling for some reason mate - the pops being unburnt fuel lighting in the exhaust. As for why it's overfuelling...... ECU feked? MAF? Some sort of sensor not working? Injector stuck open? Does it smell of fuel at all? I'm sure someone more knowledgable will be along shortly :)

Light weight. I did a 615 mile round trip today - 2 bottom ends, a head and 2 sets of wheels :) (and a crate of stella) How's the reccy's looking mate????

And thanks for the spin in your motor today - I can't tell you how hard i had to try to stop myself from absolutely ragging the sh*t out of it!!!!! :) I have to say the 24v does feel fantastic - amazing throttle response and low-end pick-up. Thats what I paid mate. I'm happy with that as it's basically the same as new pistons and a rebore. And its about £2.3k from veedub!!!! :shock: It's not the one from a while ago i don't think - I was after that one too. This one was originally listed a couple of weeks ago. And its gonna look spanky beneath its new head! :) How's the beast mate?

Kev - tis the one off ebay. I didn't win it originally, but the winner backed out so it was relisted. And now its mine. I also won the new head that NickVR6 was after. And just to rub salt in the wound, I snuck those azev a's he wanted!!!! (sorry dude) :)

IOW - I 'won' a 24v v6 off ebay but the gernam mo fo seller was actually a dirty little tea leaf - a few people off here got stung I think, but I was the stupidest!! :) Anyway, since then I changed my mind and was gonna rebuild the 12v. But now I have a brand spanking new head, block and pistons with zero miles on!!! (for way less than a rebuild) :) I'm going to get some work done to the crank/buy another crank to try and get some nice torque flowing. Then its time for a peloquin and we're off.

Ok mate. Stan's agreed to have them dropped at his if there's any kind of problem. But i'm sure all will go smoothly.

Yeah....... there's something strange afoot i tell ye I noticed it the other day. Errr....... and it may well have only started since I feked around with fuses and relays getting all the other gubbins to work :)
