Its not so much the wallet as the 'head' Kev. I'm unsure if I should spend several grand on a new engine for an old car, or just get a low mileage 328i coupe. 5k for a 50/60k miler.

I can voice an awful lot louder than I am now if ya like? :) Its another 100 dollar (love you longtime) for postage. Not sure about import duty. But if you can land a set of pistons in ya hand for 425 in the uk i'll eat your entire nos kit mate :)

I reckon that has a 'similar' front look to a lowered rado. They way it kinda 'droops' over the bonnet and down over the arches. Very nice. God I think I'm starting to like modern cars in my old age! I was looking at a 328i coupe earlier! Can't see his fronts lasting too long with about 4 degrees of -ve camber though!!! :)

You aint gonna get decent forged pistons for much less than 700 notes mate. 425 is for the special 'away with the fairies' ones that only come free with a 425 quid flying pig :) (preparing to eat my words)

Blimey. Here we go again. Lots of dying vr's around! Don't bother mate. Unless you have very deep pockets. Small gains for lots of money. Get a standard rebuild and charge it. Or get an r32 or a 24v vr engine. Rebuild, r32 or 24v all approx the same cost depending on who does it. Or you could mince around for months being horribly indecisive like me ;) PS. Might be time to change your sig a bit??? Lol.

In all honesty that pic is seriously making me doubt taking my kids in the back of mine. Seems to be fek all strength to the rear passenger space. Don't reckon even the fanciest child seat is gonna sort that. Damn - need a 2nd car then! :)

Now I'm probably way off here, but would that not be the 3.0 24v (audi?) rather than the 2.8 CoxyLaad??? Suerly all vw 2.8's are vr6's??? Here's hoping anyway :)
