an incredible amount of g60 owners use darren from g-werks(myself being one) he and his staff are some off the most helpful & accomadating people you'll meet (he even let my mate wash his supra) and its been said many a time but what darren doesnt know about g60's aint worth knowing, he lets you in the garage lets you fiddle and you can barrage him with questions http://www.g-werks.co.uk! but yeah get it down there let him do an intermediate service and health check! plus he is very well priced! i always hear good things about stealth to but he's more vw's in general where darren is master of the G! HAVE A LOOK AT HIS HOME MADE SCREW CHARGER!

coolrado you should of seen it on the motorway looked like cut springs it was funny thou! dub nut i just remebered when i looked at them that u said you were getting some new suspension at Dazza's im glad you got it sorted now thou!

dazza did whoever just have it on as hard setting as possible! so there were no damping in the springs thus meaning the bump stops felt a large percentage of any uk pot hole or likewise! there not off dub_nuts car are they his car wasnt to healthy on the suspension side on way to stealth!

if you ring up darren he's like a walking g60! he'll be able to tell you what is best for you from what you want to achieve and with your budget! welcome to the forum do you have any pics of your G? most people check the charger is ok first darren does an intermediate service for the G @ £140 very reasonable he'll also give you a health check while your there! so best give him a ring matey cheers Andy

they're gonna have a radical overhaul in the summer! want something someone hasnt done to the borbets then they will be my summer wheels thats all in the long term plan thou! its not gonna be black and polished either! unless what i want done costs loads then i might sell them! but at mo the edges are just in need of a refurb from the old owner io must add!

cheers bazza what tyre's you running there? the only 3 tyre's i can seem to get a price for on the 195/40/16's is the pirelli pzero nero dunlop sp9000 continental sport contact 2 my mate who works for a tyre fitters will do me 4 p-zero nero;s for £352.00 fitted and thats with quite a big discount! and everywhere esle i can find them for no cheaper than £100.00 a corner fitted so looks like im going with p-zero's they better last for ages at that price though i tell ya! how much do you all normally spend on a tyre?

furkz how much have you lowered yours now fella? oh and here's my drop on 16's soon to be lowered on my new polished RH's she's pretty low on the front already to be honest can just fit hand under but running 45 profile at mo so 40's is gonna give me another few mill! then the backs gonna get slammed! had to raise it 10mm due to awfull island roads as running the 9's at mo! referring to lee's earlier comment mine hits my decat even now lee! im just gonna go for a total straight through eventually so nothing is hanging lower than the floor pan!

it looks like i might be going that way dave with mine! will get the pads in first just to see if the squeak stops then if it does will order new discs up after anyway and refit the old pads just till the new discs come! also on the drivers side one of my 4 wheel nuts its slightly rounded! does anyone know if i have to get these from vw! or can i get them from elsewhere?

dave what bolts did you replace them with are they pretty standard or vag items?

mate yeah i found out why mine has been squeaking must have same prob as you coz they were sh*tty halfords pads on there so am gonna change the whole set up asap its either that or the disc thats warped coz somethings making it squeal and its not the right squeal for a wheel bearing! just money defficient! at mo fella! how much you loving the lighter nights thou! yes 2cc is right the caliper carry needs to come off first! some monkey seems to off slightly rounded the head on my top carrier bolt so not going to touch that till i get a new bolt does anyone know where i can get one from?

kev you've just put me off as i dont have a magnetic dial out gauge! will start saving for the brembo one's me thinks! also just got off phone to vw parts & servicing at local dealers and they want just under £40 a disc! also how do you guys get discount from the steelers am i missing something?

thanks colin yeah i noticed that! thats half the reason im gonna change tham as looks real easy! plus i havent totally eliminated the squeak! but is about 10 times better! ive just been writting up the wiki now so if anyones as stupid as me it might be of some help!

hi guys can you get VAG discs for the g60 from gsf or euro car parts or is it just cheaper from main vag dealer thanks andy p.s does anyone know how much they are cheers andy?
