hello lads I will not be changing the engine for quite a while yet! as My C engine is the best and im sure will run for at least another 100k my proposition is it possible to put an audi 2.7 bi-turbo lump in a C? I think they start at 230bhp up? but the tuning aspects would be huge wouldnt they? any views/comments would be great! thanks andy

hello my friend currently owns a lowered one i love it handle well and goes well but i just wouldnt buy one he gives it a beating and nothings going wrong to date his is a very subtle burgundy colour seats are nice, i've only had a few races with him and can beat him but then i've beaten an integra type r through 2 round-abouts and 2 stretches of dual carriageway i've never driven an integra but the handling is supposed to be top notch! you could go for something outrageous you could buy a TVR Chrimera for under 10k or what about a mint audi s2 theyre awesome £6kish or can you afford an R32 MK4 GOLF or even buy a mint C and put a big engine in it for £10k you could have one of the best in britain and it would make everyone on the forum happy!

VW's plans for 2008 include a four-wheel drive coupé based on the Golf platform, powered by a range of four engines -- a broader mix than the previous, and much-loved Corrado from the 1990s. With the aim of competing with the Alfa Brera, the top of the range model will both look muscular and boast a 247bhp 3.2-litre V6 -- a development of the original VR6 that powered the top-end Corrado. While the rest of the range is likely to be FWD only, this will get AWD, and will get the six-speed, flappy-paddle operated DSG gearbox as an option. The V6 will make 62mph in around 6.3 seconds. Now called the Rivo, Autocar reports that sources inside VW suggest that the Rivo is to be a pure 2+2 designed to complement the recently unveiled Eos coupé-cabrio. UK prices will start at £22,000. Other powerplants will consist of the new 1.4-litre twin-charger that was launched recently for use in the Golf GT, and the GTi's turbocharged 2.0-litre FSI mill. Diesel will probably also be an option.

hello evryone have now had chance last night to get in to my mates garage get some light on the car and take the uderside of dash off! as i still have proplem with my washer jet and wipers on constantly unless i un plug them so now I've got all the relays in view does anyone know what number is on the wash wipe relay? so I can inspect it!

people have got a cheek i was out one saturday night 7pm ish 1st pint of the night my mate go's to the bar and buy's 4 pints of john smith's turn's round puts two on the table go's back to the bar. then when he gets back the bar lady asks him for his money and he asks politely where the other pint is and she say she just poured it and left it on the side my friend then turns round to check the table and to see if he's brought 3pints to the table and no such luck back to the bar he trots and looks next to him two men 30 ish they have one pint of john smiths an two pints of nearly finished lager! bearing in mind my friend played rugby for the irish exiles and london irish under 21's weighs 18stone! so he asks the 1st man why he has stole his pint in this breath the 1st man says fuck off its my pint so my friend ask the bar woman (the only one serving) if she's served him the pint she replies no so by now he's quite angry we get up and go over! he's nicely as you knicked my pint buy me another! and I'll let it go with this the two men stand up and the 1st man says fuck off its not with everyone in the pub knowing quite well its not! anyway by this time my mate is seriously pissed drags the bloke outside and tells him to fuck off the matey then trys to swing for my friend and with this my friend knocks him to the floor and his mate does nothing he then returns to pub where the land lord has now appeared and gave us all a free pint and said thanks for getting them two out they been bothering us all afternoon! sorry for long story but what a cheek!

really like your C you've done alot quickly i've only had my C coming on for 3months now and im saving up for a service with darren from g-werks then i will start modding her! regarding the rear wiper motor are you going to fill it over and then paint or are you just goin to leave plug there also how did you disconnect/stop the rear washer jet? keep going trigger

id have to say a g but thats my choice id test drive them both go away have a think then the one you prefer go back and drive it again! or if you cant do that drive the one you want least and drive that first! then drive the one you like most and weigh it up but i try not to take any money coz when i brought my mk2 golf i made an impulse buy! luckily it was ok! but didnt look over car properly when i brought my g60 i'd looked at a few and took my mechanic friend who does all the s.v.a tests with me and he looked over the c for 2hours and we both test drove it! he could only find a problem with offside cv boot kit! and I love my G! GET A G!

i dont think it does now but the new system is so much stricter as they have to log it on computer when i put my golf mk2 8v done they pulled it up on loads of things where when i got it done the time before it went straight through and if anything it was in better condition the 2nd timne as id spent alot on engine and suspension it also failed on having no middle seat belt but it was under the seat and the matey didnt even look i had to take my bca induction kit off emissions too high all a ball ache! so i give u loads of good wishes as i know how worrying it is!

lads can i just say reading this thread impresses me no end the car knowledge you guys have is mental i wouldnt even know where to start good luck to all of you can i just say that putting nearly 300ish bhp through the front wheels really starts to push a car doesnt it before you need 4wd? i see renshaws got 4wd thats one impressive set up and eventually in years to come i hope i have enough money to permit me a more powerful engine can i just ask what would happen if you put an audi 2.7 bi-turbo engine in the C???? would this work as i believe this is the engine from the a4 sport isnt it? sorry for lack of car knowledge lads! good luck with the projects Andy
