It's not gone to trader, some local. I've had it advertised awhile now on Gumtree and Autotrader for 5k. Got no phone calls , just people wanting to swap. So dropped the price and put it Piston heads. Time to move on, and I'm hankering for a Z4 coupe. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I’ve owned this car since 2013 and spent hundreds of hours and thousands of pounds getting it to this "garage queen" standard It is a 1992 G60 (J reg) in Flash Red with unmarked charcoal cloth interior. I am very much an OEM+ man and so I’ve gone down the route of it retaining its original look but with little tweaks here and there. I've bought brand new OEM parts when available or uprated parts. It has 139K on the clock but don’t let that worry you as this car has been meticulously maintained by me and the previous owner who had the car from 1995 to 2013. This car started out as a company car from a lease company, it seems the lease company changed its name hence the extra owner on the log book. But really it has only had 2 previous owners, there is documentation to support this. The car has full service history, stack of past MOTs and a huge folder of receipts. Current MOT is March 2018 Exterior • Body and paint is pretty much faultless, with the odd slight stone chip on the front. • New badges front and rear VW badges, Corrado script rear badge is in good condition • Fogs and indicators are mint and have been Laminated • 15” BBS RZ fully refurbed, with Toyo Proxes T1R all round • Cavities were all injected with rustproof treatment, sills, chassis rails etc. Interior • Full Charcoal cloth, in good condition with no worn patches or bolster wear • Custom made centre console gauge holder as I could not find the original piece. This holds the Boost and Oil Pressure. It’s a push fit, so easily removed if it’s not your thing. • Set of nearly new original Corrado script mats. • The rear seats have probably only been sat in handful of times, so are almost new. Suspension, drivetrain and brakes • Standard shocks and springs • Front brakes are standard 280mm which were refurbed and powder coated red. It also had a new MK4 rear calliper which were painted red before fitting. • Goodridge braided hoses fitted all round. • All abs sensors replaced • Pagid discs and pads , all in good nick, with new hand brake cables. • Daves16v Short shift kit • All engine mounts been replaced. Engine • Supercharger has had a standard rebuild in 2013 by JabbaSport. Both timing belts were replaced at the same time by them. • Plastic silencer replaced with genuine Golf G60 silencer. • All other auxiliary belts changed • New water pump and coolant changed. • All other fluids change, PAS, Gearbox, Brake • New clutch kit fitted in 2016 • The cooling system has been almost entirely replaced in the last 5 years including radiator, Other bits • Has the original warning triangle, in rear seat • Under bonnet foam sound deadening has been replaced • CAT1 Cobra Alarm with full closure • 2 sets of keys and a replica Pill key • Extensive service history, by year Price £4195 Probably missed some other bits off. Please PM for contact details or any other information

You can find the part number form here, http://volkswagen.7zap.com/en/rdw/corrado/cor/ Doesn't look to difficult to replace, as long as you can get access to all the bolts. I've not done it before so not sure if there are any other things to look out for.

Spoiler re-working with aftermarket ecu and gauges
sankysvr6 replied to ryan_welshman's topic in Interior
Just go back a step, and put your old clocks back in if the spoiler was working before. Like Stuart has said the signal for the spoiler comes form the clocks, so if your speedo is working your half way there. I had blown capacitor in my gauge cluster when it stopped working. -
Welcome to the forum, If you have the know how and the ability. I would start by taking the car back to basics, if the mods have not been put on by you and it has never ran correctly since you've had it. Some basic things you could check for the cutting out, is the blue temp sensor. Try unplugging it with engine running, the revs should drop but it should keep running. Then plug it back in and the revs should pick up and idle smoothly again. Check the wiring loom from the lambda sensor, these have a tendency of breaking. You also want to check the wiring for the injectors. Check all vacuum lines are all okay. At the end of the day the G60 is basically the 8V GTi engine, so there is a lot of information via google to get the basics running. If all else fails, just drop the car off at JMR, Onlycharged Dubs, Jabbasport, Dubforce Tunning, Stealth Racing. I'm sure any of these place could get it back up and running again.
