  3. Good read, thanks for sharing.
  4. As Jim said, it goes over it like a glove. I bought one for my G60 years back and it looked all good to me. Post a picture of it if you can, just out of curiosity.
  5. Just PM me your address and I'll get one out in the post for you. Happy to help out a fellow enthusiast. Mine was leaking oil, and I thought it was the oil return pipe. When I started taking apart I found that behind the bracket it must have been repaired before with silicone. So cleaned it all up, and fitted a new o-ring on the bracket. And it's been all good ever since. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Yeah there should be an O-ring behind the bracket. I think the same block is used on other VW's, where it has some sort of pipe attached there. There are some pictures of it in the link bellow, if you need one let me know. As they are obsolete from the dealers, so I had to buy like a pack of 10 from eBay. So got plenty as spares. http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?86488-G60-Charger-bracket-O-ring
  7. I've got Fluke meter at home you can borrow, so you can check it properly. But I think you need to check the voltage with no load. You want around 12V to 13V Then start the car and take another reading. You want around 14.2V to 14.7V, anything higher you will be over charging. Then put all electrics on and take another reading. You still want a reading around the 14.2V area.
  8. The pistons are something like 60/70mm long. I dont think your piston is going anywhere. Once you've pumped the brakes a few times, the piston should adjust itself to take up any slack against the discs
  9. Thanks for asking Stu Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    RH ZW1 4 x 100

I should have bought the set I saw Leicester last year when I had the chance. But I was to much into trying to keep it all original at the time.
  13. Your probably best replacing the elbow as well, if you want it to seal properly. Which are available form VW Heritage, in a week. or you could try here. http://www.maxrpm.de/Radiator-top-water-take-off-flange-for-VW-Golf-G60-Corrado-G60-OEM-535121647 Elbow 535121647

    RH ZW1 4 x 100

Bit of a long shot, but it seems some people have forgotten what they've got tucked away. I am on the hunt for a set 17" RH ZW1 in 4 x 100 fitment, at reasonable price and condition. If anyone has or know about any for sale, please get in touch with me. Thanks
  15. Not seen this before, but I do like that.
  16. Thanks but I was thinking around half that, so I'll give it a miss. I see what your saying about the muggers on here. LOL
  17. Interested in the G60 ISV, depending on price. I would prefer for you to give me a price that you would like for it, then me offer you one. That way you get what you want, without feeling that you've been mugged.
  18. VW Festival in Leeds are trying to get as many Corrado's together this year if you fancy it.
  19. Not sure about this forum, but edition38 forum members get a 5% discount on everything. Also April16 will get you 10% off orders over £100, but this expires today.
  20. Not had these symptoms my self, but I would start with the following. When the engine is running, disconnect the blue temp sensor and listen out for the engine revs dropping and the stabilising again. If it doesn't do anything replace the sensor. Check the micro switches on the throttle body are working, one should come on soon as you put your foot on the accelerator pedal, and the second one on full throttle. Do this with the engine off. Check all the vacuum lines are in good condition, and the one going to the ECU is the correct 1M in length. If all is still not well, check the wiring loom for the fuel injectors. By the way how was the car running prior to removing the supercharger?
  21. No problem Dave, But you got me thinking is mine correct now [emoji1]. According to this picture taken from the Corrado manual. Is the 1mm gap referring to the area I have circled in the picture below. Because that doesn't look like 1mm to me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. So this is what my TB looks like off the pedal This on the pedal fully down Hope that helps Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Was asking because mine doesn't have the TPS bit like the one in the pic. You can also listen out for the clicks from the micro switches, soon as you press gently on the pedal you should here one and as you go to the floor you should hear the second click. but I'll get the pictures for you tonight.
  24. Is that your throttle body? and is your G60 an auto? I'll get some pictures of what my throttle body is doing when the pedal is down to the floor for you
