Anyone got a connector for a 10pin spoiler module? I want to try and repair these, and would like to make a test loom up for it. Also if anyone has any faulty modules, that they are throwing out, I wouldn't mind these also.

I might have sourced one now. Thanks to those that responded. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I bought it back in 2013, but then I just re-trimmed mine. Including the handbrake and gaiter leather. For about £15 in matching leather. It's on my build thread, if you want to see the results. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

As long as you've got the hanger for the display, you can still buy the ticket on the day. Just will mean a slight delay entering the show. Which I might have to do as well if the misses decides to come. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

Actually come to think of it, don't think the MFA hidden menu has anything to do with the spoiler not working. As I can access the hidden menu for MFA 1, it's just when I start the car it goes back the normal options. Also if all the signals look correct going to the module. It must be the module that is faulty. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Cheers Sean, if I don't manage to get one any sooner. I'll take yours, whenever you can dig out. Good luck with the move.

Anyone got a spare working spoiler module, the later type with a 10pin connector?
-
Okay Ive checked the frequency on the plug going to the spoiler module, and I get a frequency as I increase my speed. So I'm thinking the connections are okay. So either my module has stopped working, or something else. I have also noticed I can't seem to bring my hidden MFA functions for MFA 1. Works okay for MFA 2, could this be related? Has anyone localish got a spare module they could lend me, or could they possibly try my module for me?

Yeah tried google, but not bringing much up. Just people with faults, where the spoiler never worked or they did some other work and it stoped working. I'll have look for this ponit, i thinks its called T43 on wiring diagram. I've bench tested the spolier module, and its seems to be functioning correctly. Only thing i cant simulate id the VSS signal, as i don't know what frequency and amplitude it will be at above 45mph.

So a bit more testing, and the spoiler sometimes comes out on its own, has a look around and goes back in. So it's a bit intermittent, but not sure where to start looking. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

So my active rear spoiler has stopped working. It works on the button for both up and down. But it's not going up on its own anymore. If I raise the spoiler using the button, and drive off. It comes down by itself, I have also noticed that when I've raised the spoiler at the traffic lights and not moved. It's come down by itself. Any pointers please, I've not done anything apart from drive it to work today. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Its going to be a shmae that im not going to see a few of the members on here and there cars, as i will be only going on the Sunday. But who's up for a after show meet on the Saturday, before you all head off home? -
Looks good. I had to put my purchase on hold, due to other expenxes taking priorties (FinTennants).

Check the fluids, and check the bulb first. With ignition on the ABS, should be lit all the time. Soon as you start the car it should go off. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Are drilled/grooved discs worth having? Peformance pads? Braided hose?
sankysvr6 replied to MZpog's topic in Drivetrain
Ive just finished fitting braided lines to mine, and to tell you the truth I don't think there is much in it. But then I'm more of a Sunday driver, so probably not getting the full benefit of them. You can buy single hoses from hel, but think are £25 each. So once you buy 2 hoses, you might as well buy a full set. http://www.brake-lines.co.uk/create-your-custom-brake-hose.html -
Hi, I think my brake master has started weeping. It's the one with only a single pipe underneath. I think these are obsolete now. So if anyone has a good one or a bad one, please let me know. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thanks for sorting the details out with DPM, I've been in touch with Damien, just waiting for his reply.

according to the Bently manual Front axle = 50 bar Rear axle = 27-33 bar Front axle = 100 bar Rear axle = 48 - 54 bar

So do we just need ring DPM, and tell him where from this forum or something? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I've been looking at these coilovers as well, think they work out that little be cheaper from here. With shipping charge included. https://www.dpmperformance.co.uk/car-parts/volkswagen/corrado/ap-coilover-suspension-kitcorrado-18-18-g60-20-29-vr6-0988 Do you think we should try and ask for a discount, if there are a few of us buying together?

So I finally finished changing the brake hoses, to braided ones. I had already done the front and rear ones. But It was just the middle ones I was struggling with. So earlier this month, I decided to look at the hoses again. With the attitude whatever happens, happens. Had a bit of trouble getting the passenger side one off. But got there in the end. Had to sacrifice the hardline, on the passenger side to get it all off. Drivers side came off, with very little hassle. Also picked up some new wheels, that I've been after for quite awhile now. Picture above is from the seller, coming to meet me with the wheels. They are in a bit of a sorry state, but hopefully with a bit tlc, they will be good as new. After a quick clean up, And some trial fitting Next on the shopping list, is some coilovers Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I would check the injector loom, and make sure none of the wires are damaged. Also try disconnecting the blue temp sensor and see if it runs any better. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
