oh yeah its now got 35mm spacers on it and she's also going to have a bmm solid engine mount in too....roll on saturday !!

nope just done the usual hammerite around the edges trick ! i thought they looked darker than everyone elses too, maybe its the eyebrow ?

passat clocks have got them too, ive pulled a set apart so ill go and check what it leads to when i can find them !

checked your fuses ? the guy who i bought my c off said the spoiler had stopped working so took £150 off the price....turned out to be a fuse had blown ! :lol:

or it could be the vertical bar that goes down (inside the door) rattling against its runner, thats what mine was, get some nice thick grease and coat the bars up. stopped mine from rattling. will post some pictures up on thursday if you are still stuck as ive still got to do my drivers door.

think yourself lucky mate, my previous corrado G60 (grey, with grey leather, 96k spankingly perfect-no dents scratches or anything i.e showroom!) was valued at £1500. and the insurance for it cost me £2000!! with a £600 excess. and someone on here bought the charger for £550 from the guy who was breaking it! i must be a Bl*ody MUG !!

keep the standard bumpers. ive got some frickin' bodykit thing on mine (i bought it like that, i know :roll: ) and i hate it. when car comes back from g-werks its all coming off and stock vw bumpers going back on. which reminds me...anyone want a front bumper sideskirts and rear bumper, dont know what they are called, maybe rieger or something ? id be willing to swap for standard ones....

ive just stopped my front windows from rattling by covering the whole mech in thick grease!! but then again the previous owner dynamat'd the whole car!

can i use a 40 profile on the front and a 35 on the back ?

ok now ive got my polished porsche wheels i need to put some tyres on them. they are 7.5 up front and 9 inch rears. ive put 195/40/16 dunlop sp9000s on the front, what do i put on the rears ? was thinking of 205/40/16 yokohama parada's ??? any good or are there any better suggestions ?

surely these new tests would be similar to the tests that our Kit cars go through? (e.g Cobra replicas etc?) where they just go over the cars to check for sharp edges and that nothing is falling off or is likely to fall off? ive got a book in my bedroom somewhere, (underneath festering piles of socks and underwear) that tells you what passes and what doesnt in an SVA test. and from what i remember the most common thing they fail them on is the ally fuel fillers, as the curve has to be over a certain radius (or is it and arc, dont know im not to good at maths!) otherwise they can call is a sharp edge and fail it. so i dont think its anything to worry about. its only the saxo boys with tables strapped to their boots that need to worry!
