-
oh and heres a quick pic of the gwerks exhaust...
-
-------UPDATE------- its back from gwerks after having belt problems, had standard VR6 bumpers put on and sills smoothed after we found out they were rusty and going a little bit rotten under the sideskirts!!! and had it mopped!! looks like glass now, just a pity that the alternator has packed up!! so i dont know her full potential yet, but thats being sorted for this weekend...Yay!! anyway heres some pics, havent washed it yet (still a bit dusty) but she looks like glass!! well chuffed, dont think ill be buying that storm now...

yes, you could get the neuspeed one above as it does the same thing as what my BBM boost pipes do, except it will retain your original rubber hoses, the neuspeed kit above has the connections in to route the ISV back into boost pipe, you cut your boost pipe level with your isv, place the chrome thingy from the neuspeed kit between the two pipes seal it back up again and connect the blue hose (in the kit) from the ISV to the new connection on the boost hose.

cool if you can do it then so should i!! will have to look into it in the future, (if i still keep her)...
-
ive used a couple of cans of forte stuff before, comes in like a baked bean can, seemed to really free the engine up and improve it all round, much better than redex, think the best solution is to give it best petrol possible tho...if you can afford it, if not then you shouldnt be driving a corrado!!
-
im 21 and already have signs of parkinsons disease!! its hard for me a drink a pint without spilling it down my front!! so dont think i could manage to paint a centre cap!!
-
yeah lookin good mate!! ive been thinking about getting some centre caps with a painted emblem on, seem more classy, dont know if you can get them polished and painted tho...
-
yeah was a good one, thought the doing a u-turn bit was a bit daft, if i was that copper i would have nicked em just for the comedy moment of being able to say 'and on that bombshell....goodnight' as clarkson always does hehe!! think they should focus on car reviews more than just pratting about tho...
-
yeah i use that stuff on my porka wheels, works a treat, need it when im too lazy to wash all the dust off, doesnt seem to be as harsh as autosol, gives a smoother finish.
-
hahaa havent heard that one in ages!!!
-
dont like her shoes, not ideal to drive in either. (not that i'd know, obviously!!!)
-
i can say that gwerks exhuasts are the mutts nuts!!! gives a Really big improvement!! car feels so much smoother!! reccommended!! but then again i dont know what these Bastuck exhausts are like.
-
ah thanks for that mate, ill have to phone him up and get one of these put on!!
-
took her down to gwerks today, found out supercharger belt was dodgy and all cracked on each of the teeth, causing it to snap!! also going to have cambelt tensioner replaced. saw my stock bumpers in the sprayshop, looking good! having the sideskirts taken off and smoothed over, due to a bit of rust underneath!!! should all be ready for pickup on thursday, YAY !! :thumbleft:
-
either have a killer on insurance or a killer on spending money on a car i cant drive!! i just find it annoying that after ive spent all this money on it it still is'nt right!!
-
ok, update.....car is going down tommorrow for about 12!! on the back of a trailer, but going down all the same!! so hopefully will be sorted out and will run as sweet as a nut!! yay!! still eyeing up S4s though, or maybe quattros? (might be a case of out of the frying pan into the fire?!?) if she comes back sorted then ill keep her, if she breaks down again soon then shes gone!!
-
yeah not a happy bunny at the moment. hopefully it will all be sorted by next friday as its got to get me to cardiff to see a mate i havent seen in ages!! Darren phoned me earlier and has sort of put my mind at ease saying he will sort it out for me, just really annoying i still cant drive her properly yet!!

anybody recognise this..?

ok really had a bad few days, actualy feel like throwing in the towel and saying F*ck it!! heres how it went.... 1) fuel pump went a few days ago while stuck in traffic, ok i knew it was on its way out and was going down to gwerks today (thursday) to be sorted along with a new section of exhaust and my new bumpers and for the car to be mopped. also made a funny 'scraping' sound before i switched off engine (after i managed to get her started for a few seconds to get it off the road) had to get towed home, nearly taking front bumper off in the process when we drove off garage forecourt where it gave up. 2) recieved fuel pump today with the intention on fitting it and getting the car down to gwerks for the above work to be done. 3) after fitting said fuel pump to car found out car had flat battery. ok also knew this was getting a bit dodgy so should have put a new one in a while ago. 4) fitted new battery and started car, that 'scratching' noise was still there, revved car a little to see if i could identify it, thought it came from somehwere around alternator/supercharger area, still coulkdnt figure it out, left it idling for 10 minutes to see if it got worse. It Didnt. So.... 5)...i thought 'sod it im taking it down to gwerks' so i dont miss my appointment, got it to about where the fuel pump went before and 'Bang' toothed pulley belt snapped!! so that was the end of that. 6) let her cool down and limped her home stopping every few minutes and letting her cool right back down to stop it blowing the headgasket- (mine had already gone by this point!! :bad-words: ) luckily there are a few pubs on the way to stop at and let us both fill up on the liquids!! 7) got her back to my girlfriends house and had another look, phoned Darren up to ask advice and reckon cambelt tensioner is too tight, local mechanic reckons its making the sound because bearings inside it are cooking themselves, and is really hot to touch (this would explain dodgy scraping sound) just got to figure out the reason why charger belt snapped, but.... 8) none of that matters because car is off down to gwerks on a trailer for Darren to sort out and fix.... becuase at the moment im considering selling it and buying a new mustang or an S4!!
