i did the same thing this time last year to my old grey G60, swerved to miss a taxi cutting me up. I know instinct says sweve but next time HIT THE F*CKER !! taxi driver drove off and i removed my breeding leg from between the knackered peddles!! Car was totaled even the copper said i should have hit the taxi instead. Hope your car is ok tho!!

ive found a site doing ones for BMWs so they should have them for corrado's ? http://www.edworthys.co.uk/product~prodID~790471.asp seems they only do them for the BMW at the moment :(

yeah ive got 205/35/16 on the 9 inch rears and 195/40/16 on the fronts

all thats left for me to do now is lose the cr*p powerflow exhaust, put a G-werks one on (with 4 branch manifold) and get my standard VR6 bumpers resprayed and put back on!!! anyone got a passenger side foglight for VR6 bumpers going spare ? PM me!!

ok cleaned her off today and took a few pics, with her new coilovers on and the porsche wheels on!!!

ah well darren sorted my rad fan when i went down there!! never worked before!! although i think a bearing might have gone in it, sounds a bit clicky!!! but yeah i think my one goes too, ill let you know!!

thermostat. check my post!! fixed it on wednesday. mine was stuck closed tho, causing a watery volcano!!

sorted the problem wednesday evening !! out in the pouring rain!! as Darren says it was the thermostat...and what an arse of a job to to (in the pouring rain when its getting dark outside and with just a trolley jack!) cheers darren. ill sort you out with some beer/marlboro money when im down next!! 234miles on her now!! and she goes :D

ok so i took my corrado down to darren to have a few things done. Well Chuffed i must say!!! while down there he replaced a coolant hose (sure he will be on in a minute to confirm and tell us more info) picked it back up on saturday and after 30 odd miles steam started pouring out of the overflow on the expansion bottle. ive read posts on here to check water pump (which is working) and that it may be head gasket failure (unlikely as it was done when engine was rebuilt 11000 miles ago!) also darren fixed the temp sensor (so now the temp gauge works) and thermostat (fan never worked before!) So.... filled her back up with coolant again waited for it to get warm, then all the water boils out again. refilled it removing any possible airlocks. then started her up again letting her get hot. top hoses are all really hot going to radiator BUT bottom hose (bottom right corner of radiator) is not hot at all (i.e room temp) is this right or is it possibly blocked somewhere ? thus over heating system ? surely if the system was working properly the bottom hose would be hot ? advice please ?

darrens got my new boost pipes on now, and given my rocker cover a nice respray!! lookin good!!

Back tomorrow Yay!!! wonder what its going to feel like?? ive been like a little kid recently, also been nagging Darren and phoning him up for no reason at all really, Also found me some VR6 bumpers to go on too, so ill be picking them up sometime. anyone know if a 90mm front spoiler will fit on the VR6 bumpers ? they are the same right? if it too low to get in the driveway ill leave it out in the road...or at work! if its actually scratched into the metalwork of the charger then it COULD be the serial number of the rebuilt charger, Jabba do it to theirs, but they also put a sticker onto the charger too.

got insured on my first G60 on my 19th birthday. £1800 fully comp... but that was a G60 obviously. why dont you get a G60 ? im not trying to turn this into a 16v or G60 thread tho!!

so whats the difference in a PG engine and a 1H engine ? (sorry to hijack, quick answer will do) because ive had a replacement rallye engine in my corrado ??

ISV is screwed up?? mine had the same symptoms. Ask darren to sort it out!!

yeah i had this on my old G60, as above it was the heat shield rattling about. just get someone to put their head under the car while you rev it. take it out of gear obviously!!

yeah that was probably my grey leather out of my old G60. insurnace compnay gives me £1000 for it and he sells the leather for £720 and the new charger for £550, hows that work then ?lol!

well my jabba'd charger had 40k on it and still worked, but darrens just rebuilt it...didnt want to push it too far!

oh yeah had my daily call form darren earlier, injector wiring loom is crusty and fecked so is going to be replaced....hopefully those efficient germans will have it here by saturday!!

colour looks even better when its clean, got a hosepipe ban down my way. got a pressure washer at work tho so i should just wash my car there!! well, im going to get rid of all the plastic cr*p and purchase some standard bumpers and grill. (thanks to my loving girlfriend financing it) then im going to change the exhaust to one of darrens finest, bit more subtle (in sounds and looks!) then im after some leathers and who knows what else ? 1.9 ? 16vG60 ? havent decided!! stay tuned tho!!

quality, we'll have to meet up sometime mate, maybe when i can be a*sed to go to some shows/meets!!
