whats the appeal of flames coming out of the exhuast ? if i saw a car do that all i would think is hmmm thats got a bit of a drinking problem! think its best left up to the nova boys... i thought the aim of setting about tuning a car is to get it working at the height of its performance ? seems like you've got a pretty much sorted G60 anyway whats the point of fookin it up with a BBQ for an exhaust ?

No problem, mine was on its original filter as of 125000 miles!!

i had this problem, went down to darren who said i should replace fuel filter, i replaced it (it was the orginal!!) and solved the problem so far, just a thought!!

yeah, i was quite worried to be honest with you, now i know it can go round a roundabout like that ill probably get cocky and try it myself!!! and crash!! did enjoy it tho, we'll go out for a drive in her again when i have my exhaust done!! she what else she can do!! thanks again mate!!

there was a guy down at G-werks who had some kind of Lotus chargecooler on his Golf G60. should have asked him about it...maybe darren could tell us more...??

ok, heres an update!!! thought my clutch was slipping as it felt a bit hesitatant (sp?) at about 4.5k revs took it down to Darren to see what it really was as my mechanics isnt up to scratch and ended up replacing fuel filter!! i reckon it was the original one too, rusty as F*ck! all the nuts and bolts had seized solid and worst of all thought id do it in my lunch break!! 40minute lunch break turned into an hour and a half!! fixed now and she runs like a dream!! Also booked her in at G-werks on 22nd June to have a full G-werks exhaust-Manifold and all fitted!! yay no more banging and booming powerflow Cr*p!! :notworthy: oh and i kerbed one of my wheels... :iamwithstupid: all fixed now though, been outside for past 3 hours smoothing out the wheel and polishing it back up!! looks ok. Next up: STOCK VR6 BUMPERS!!! YAY 8)

same thing happened to me about 3 weeks ago. changed the thermostat and all was fixed.... :D

i like it!! providing it will look sometjing like that and not just a MK5 golf that an elephant/my missus has sat on. but reckon £30k sounds about right :cry: better start saving!!

true, thats why ive never really been a fan of the angel eyes, look a bit "saxo" in my opinion. but each to their own.

yeah, ive got them sitting round the side of the house now, think the clutch is slipping now though, oh and the exhaust is loose from trying to find the best way into the drive without it hitting anything!! :oops:

ooo not too sure about them now... i think ill let you guys buy them first!!

ive got these... (ill take some btter pics tommorrow but the lenses do look slightly more smoked than some others. dont know why !!??
