  1. send it to darren!!! theres no point in risking it really is there?? plus he'll do a better job of it (no offense)
  2. if you stick you car in springfarm road, camelsdale it might get a wash/wax....
  3. not a fan of the smoothed over look either, although i do like that blue one....
  4. i thought raceland were a 'cheapy' company? i.e cheap shocks and springs and other tack, usually advertise in 'Golf' magazine and PVW?
  5. yeah switch engine off unplug it and start it up again. ive got a spare ISV if you wanted it?
  6. you can take the ISV off and clean in in carb cleaner, this seems to solve most peoples problems, didnt solve mine though! mine was fixed when i took it down to gwerks to have a few things done to it. you can also just disconnect it (plug on the left side) and that will stop it, just runs a bit lumpy when started from cold for a minute.
  7. i think they are 205/35/16s on the back (could be 215s)...oh wait a minute maybe they are 215s? got them from http://www.mytyres.co.uk and they only do them in 215s!!! would go and check my car to be sure but darrens got it at gwerks for its new exhaust!!
  8. haha i live in camelsdale!! only a little village, how strange!! ive often thought of doing this to a few cars ive seen parked up just to see their faces when they come back!!
  9. yeah Audi S4 guy at work had one until he wrapped it round a tree!! got out alive though!!
  10. i would think UPS services would be insured as standard, so should be able to get something out of them.
  11. oh dear it dont look good, would have thought UPS would give you compensation though, but probably will get a bit funny if they were not packed properly, Royal Mail does (i work for them!) so make sure you keep the boxes or crates that they came in!!
  12. bit skinny arent they? looks well mad!! dont know what it would be like driving it though!! steam roller anyone?? i say keep em on and put the porsche on some bricks!!
  13. Gwerks about £175 ish i think, contact darren or check on bahn brenner website (in $ though!)
  14. get a bbm boost hose kit like mine, got it all built in....
  15. ive got 205/35/16s on my 9 inch rears and they look like this... and they are on coilovers, ride is about as hard as when it was on 17's IMO
  16. yeah, usually best to use the gas pedal instead of the brakes next time!! then if they are still conscious slam their head in their car door 'vinnie jones-lock stock... stylee' teach em to drive better!! Bit extreme i know, but people that drive away from an accident are potential murderers!!
  17. tell you what, you do the write up and ill find somewhere to live, marry your missus and kep your car on the road!! Deal ?
  18. maybe you should write up a 'how to' on capacity increases and make it a sticky?? as it makes for quite interesting reading, and also the fact i might want to do one in 12 months time when my loans are paid off again!!
  19. similar thing happened to me, wrote off my car and gave me £1000, apart from it was a taxi that cut me up and drove off!! i dont know how people have the nerve to drive off after causing an accident, me and my mate should have been dead according to the fire brigade!! surely that could have been murder!!??!!
  20. Check my galley, my cars is lowered on some coilovers anyway, so dont rub, i always thought g-max springs were a bit cheap and rough ? get some nice coilovers on it when you can afford to, and then you cn ut the ride height where you want it!! think ive got about another 4-6 cm of lowering to go until i get all the way down!!
  21. from what i know they cant make a 'quiet' system. they are either loud or VERY LOUD!!! mine will be up for sale soon if you want it, check my gallery, you can have it for 75 quid!
  22. yeah, ive got one, STAY AWAY!! they are loud and horrible, make yourself an appointment at G-werks and have one of their ones fitted, thats what im off to do on the 22nd ! :D they also sit really low to the ground...not good if you want so slam the car like i have- ive got about an inch clearence between the ground and the centre box, as a result it scrapes all the time and now bangs and rattles whenever you put your foot down. Talk to Darren and get one of g-werks-you wont regret it!!
  23. each to their own then, i just dont think the whole flamer system things are for vw's, sell the flamer without even trying to b*gger up yourn fueling and get something polished or something that improves the car.
