"Burn the Witch!"

Gotta laugh at what was said on VW's I-CROC web page which is still available... http://www.volkswagen.co.uk/volkswagen- ... tures/iroc :?

what are your perfect wheels for a 'Rado and why? Disc

I now HAVE to agree with Rado Steve... LM's... Or rather LM-alikes.... Steve, what size are your BBS caps BTW? -
Have a check at the earth as well, from memory (10+yrs) my Goof failed a MOT on this.. turned out the earth was on a UJ with slight play so it wasn't making a connection, moved to chassis et viola!

Fey, sure it doesn't say "a bit black"? Monkey, it looks Blue to me as well..
-
Whoop! buy 30ft of blue ones and copy the new jag! Look good in the dash, were they a PITA to fit?
-
Ok so we all think it's wide of the mark... but how soon before some-one makes an IROC front bumper/end for it? Would we think differently then? And yeah "classic coupe shape" so WTF are we driving about in! The Yank angle doesn't surprise me, they are still focussed on the SUV segment, and probably will be for quite a while. It is the land of the Luxury Pick-up after all! Same Shitt as the "new" Beetle... pretty body on a Goof platform... Andy, what did VAG say when you asked for your money back? "Oh another one?"
-
Because of a greater profit in R32 coversions? "Buy our ecu... come back to map it" Are Storm going the "Jabba" route? Andy FI is the way forward for cheap "Thrills" speak to Crazydave/Kad/Cheesemeister, even Heristies is hooked despite it not all going to plan! S/C or Turbo.... If it's not enough in the end and you do go R32 route.. rip out the "Charged" VR and flog to a mk2 Golf owner for a decent wedge!

Ah the infamous "Rob Brocks" break cover again! Looking good... Rob, no you don't.. you really want a nice set of 17" LMs ;) -
Is it me or does it look like a Laguna? Sorry VW you go it soooo WRONG! Even the new Focus looks to have a better "presence" from the front... :( May as well call it the Mk6 Golf coupe... I can see a lot of the advance orders being cancelled as we speak...

haha Hoping you wouldn't notice the foot shots! The Brown/White and Black Vans are me I admit. The shoes and white trainers are Tallpaul1977 and Jonesmark12. -
Deerstalker, pipe and HUGE Mosschops.... maybe a handlebar 'tasch too! Bet the glovebox hides a fine collection of Victorian "Ankle porn" too! Or several Otters...

Working on sorting a supplier of 65mm Carbon/gold effect BBS caps as we speak! Believe me they look better with those chrome centres than the "VW" ones also available! :D -

Well BIG thanks to Tallpaul for organising this.. The LM-alikes arrived Saturday, all fitted with Yoko Prada2 which although I was initally scetchy about seem to have pretty massive levels of grip in the dry, so far... Anyway here's some pics: At pic up from R-tec: Trail fit at home: Looking good... First one on and clears the arch! All on yes they are 17's as well!: Looking "Phatter" Only slight issues is it's up about an inch (used to sit at below Lid height) All in all I'm really chuffed... and the speedo's not that far out. Checked on a speed check sign down by the Excel centre last night.. 38 road speed reads 40 on the clock, so if I keep to the clock all will be fine! Just need to get some coilies to "Fine tune" the height, and after a trip down to Gatwick last night I'm understanding the dynamics of a Rado on 17's and 40 series tyres in regards tramlining... FUN! -
Ah but will it have a rare Karman interior too? Infact I doubt it will be "hand-built" like the Rocco/Rados either... Yan, accountants been getting in the way since the birth of the motorcar! Although a more "modern" development is a "designed lifespan" which kicked off with the old Woolsey "Landcrab" which was designed with open U shaped channels on the inner wings specifically designed to trap mud and water and give it a 15 yr life expoectantcy, although BL slightly overdid it with the "All-Agro" which seemed to have a 2yr life expectantcy!

Any-one recommend a local (to Aylesbury/Oxford) place to get this done? Worn a Toyo out in 6k... think my tracking's been shot to sh*t thanks to a trench appearing across the raod on my trip to work couple months ago.

Well walking from the DLR station to the office today and two uniformed cops were sat at the traffic lights by Tower of London lights in... An unmarked Scooby STi (Pink badges).. if that wasn't bad enough it also had a block of "Chav/Ricer style" decals on the Doors! You know the list of all the parts they wish they had! Closer look and lights behind grille and small LEDS infront of rear headrests... Seriously upset if I got pulled by that!

Car noise- has this happened to anyone else?
vwdeviant replied to Traverse's topic in General Car Chat
Wasn't the national spokes person for the Amish commuinty busted a few years ago for using a computer and fax machine to send out press releases? Sometimes I can "understand" not wanting to live a modern life... But only for 2-3 weeks on a beach somewhere... Now Traverse explain the concept of "Dry Counties" to us! That will REALLY blow our minds! -
should take couple hours end to end, use the WIKI guide and all will be good.... Tip, if you are leaving B/C pillar plastics in place, the seatbelts make for good "levers" to keep it all out the way when removing & replacing the headlining. Just needs one of you in the middle of the car with all 4 belts in hand, wrapped round the plastics.

Why did the mouse eat his dinner on the supercharger?
vwdeviant replied to CTWG60's topic in General Car Chat
Yeah was trying to "multi-task" doing that! *EDIT* Title changed to some more "Bat-inspired" (Rodent/bat eh? Get it?) :morning:
