For your "Average" Joe (ie not Rob) both are similar... I have both but prefer the 3 stage Megs (but using Gold Class wax rather than step 3) on my Pearl Gay as it leaves a deeper shine..I tend to do this 2/3 time a year, (partly to save paint from over polishing and also because it takes best part of 1/2 day!). but saying that I've been topping that up with AG UDS followed by a shot of Megs wax and that keeps the shine up... On Reds I recommend the EGP from usining it on my Mars Red Skyrocket (Mars is a beatch as it turns Orangy-pink) regular useage kept it looking tip top, followed by waxing/EGP when I had some. If you do get UDS/SRP/EGP etc.. it's important to keep it away from extremes in temps (Hot and cold) as it breaks the products down.. as I have learned from leaving SRP in a car before.. turns it to water...

Ok Should be getting round to fitting the moonroof this weekend... It's from a B3/4 Passat Estate so all should be ok but wondered what the pitfalls to avoid when fitting up are? No motor with it either so I guess they're ok to use with the early motor from my Rado? Cheers!

IIRC a guy with a Cossie500 did just that a while ago. Wired up the drivers door handle to the battery as he was getting sick of the number of attempted thefts of his car... Desired effect was to Zap a Pikey Chav who was trying to nick his car... Undesired effect was he was reported to the 5-0 and they prosicuted him with assault and he was fined/sentanced... So no, don't do it, I guess even the studs in the driver seat wired to the coil would result in the same.. much liek the farmerwho shot the Pikeys who broke into his house got done and they got "compensation"

A hah! The Radom Brand Hatch Part thred at last... I was talking to Dave about this there... the only clues we have is that it "Appeared" in the boot... But that doesn't narrow it down as it may have been hiding there for a bit... We looked at a number of boot areas and couldn't see an obvious place and from memory I don't think it had a part number either... Mind you I think some-one else said "Yeah one of those appeared in my boot too!"

Doubt it'll go for the £510 as there's a reserve... Car's just outside Huddersfield so maybe worth asking a "Local" to go look. It's a J plater so maybe would have come with 2.0 ABV (as mine is) but does state replacement engine.. so maybe an upgrade.. does look like an ABV (But without the metering head?) also earlier black interior as well? Back on topic... Mark we need to get on and do something special with the Seibrings if the "Special" wheels aren't going to make it back for ED... ;)
