I bought a turtle wax one and it's great :D

I've been looking on the DVLA website for a plate that starts G60 for ages and it keeps telling me that there are none :( How'd you get that one mate?

There are a few on here with J*** GCD. I'm another and Furki's plate is one number away from mine. Our cars were "born" 2 days apart, both black G60's 8) And a couple of others too :-P Not a private plate though, sorry

Today (30th april) at a roundabout in cambuslang industrial estate. Dark VR6, gave and recieved a wave 8) any takers? Was looking nice

Such a nice car mate, really tidy. My sister had an RS Turbo for a while and it was fairly quick and clean too. Not fancy an RS1600i? Just a quick question (or 2). Does the guage pod on the A-Pillar obstruct your view at all? Where did you get it and how much was it? Was it a straight fi? Ok, that was more than 2 questions but hey :-P Whoever buys it will be getting one sweet example of a G60 8)

I'm with Henny on this one. Had the same problem shortly after I got my G60 and Henny helped me (well actually sorted it himself) sort it. Sound similar to what was happening to mine. Turned out to be a faulty sender switch and was sorted after I changed 3 in total. 8)

No heat shield = no shielding from heat = water boils away????? Just a random, non-mechanically trained stab in the dark mate. Hope you get to the bottom of this soon mate 8)

I think if you remove the seat altogether (10mm bolt at front of seat i think) you will be able to slot it back in where it's supposed to be. You might not even have to take the whole seat out, mabye just slide it back a bit. Hopefully I've understood your problem correctly and helped you out. I'm sure that if I'm wrong, someone will correct me soon enough. 8)

Looking good ant. What have you done to the sun visors and the surround from the interior light that houses the sunroof awitch? Get some pics up in-situ when you get the chance, think I'm gonna have to do that this summer 8)

try http://www.gpcvwaudi.com they have the 90mm one you are after and the smaller 50mm one. The prices are the wrong way round on the website though but still cheaper than the dealer. Or you could wait till GTI international and get one from there. HTH 8)

Had a couple of Golfs (Black 5-door 1.3 and a black 8v GTi) but after the Gti got written off decided to save my money for something a bit special. Was considering a Rallye but was put off by it being left hand drive. Then in The Golf magazine I spotted Andreas Kain (spelling) and his monster turbo'd VR. Thought, hmmm thats nice. Originally had 1.8 16v in mind, then the 2.0 16v then i wondered if I'd get insured on a G60. Phoned the insurance company and was £100 CHEAPER than my Golf GTi. Saved up and after being the Jackal for exactly 1 year to the day my Golf got written off, went to Walsal and bought my Black G60 for £4300. Not bad for 3rd car at 21 years old eh? Not regretted it since although I really fancy a bi-turbo, 4wd VR6 :twisted:

What lights are they? FK's or inpro? I really like them on your car. never seen them on a black C before and they look 8) Might have to get a set for mine now

My store (Halfords) had the JBL's that jedi is on about. They were on the cheap cause they were old stock. They were reduced to £19.99 from £47.99 and they are JBL GTO6425e. The Halfords item code is 726676 but i think you'll be lucky to get some. The only thing is that you have to "slightly" modify the plastic shelf bit that holds them. A bit fiddly but worth it. HTH

thanks for the kind words guys. The report will get started tomorrow (mabye) and apparently there are still 20-odd photos left on DM's spool so won't be for some time. 8)

Just washed her today and took a couple more photos. Nothing has changed, just some snaps from different angles than before. 8)
