I picked up a set of the Anni splits the ones which are 7" wide x16. I need of a refurb but with tyres and will look great on a silver Corrado 8) I`m going to colour the centre a shade of grey or and polish the rim 8)

you have a set 'kicking about'!!?? i wish i had a set kicking about, you can give me them and ill have them kicking about on my corrado if you want? but yes, i got told they need adapters, even when using them on 5x112, which seems a bit daft to be honest. Its just the adaptors I have kicking about

I think thats right enough there is a chamfer round the edge. I`ve got a set kicking about somewhere. I`ll dig them out tomorrow and take a pic if it helps? Did Omar take the ZW1s off then?

Looks quite nice in the pics, certainly for £500 :D Has it high mileage cos it seems cheap, not that ,thats a bad thing  Cant really go wrong for the money. Welcome back to the fold 8)

Well deep joy :D :D Went and got the full dash out today. Switches clocks wiring looms everything--------but no bracket off the transmission tunnel!!!! The hardest part of the whole thing was removing the glovebox   Unfortunately didnt get the ignition cowling is was damaged :( Big job now fitting it all in to my car

Nice wheels I have these on my MK5 and they are 8) They look really good on the Corrado---good choice.
-
Could also use a bit of heat on them to melt/soften the glue or tape  The edge of a credit card works a treat when the glues heated :) Use a hot air gun or if nothing else a hairdryer :)

Its the local reg for Northampton,VW HQ is Milton Keynes and the closest local office to register vehicles is Northampton. I still think its to do with VW registering the vehicles as either fleet or management cars :)
-
I was after a set of 17`s for a while but they seem to be like hens teeth just now :(
-
OK thanks I have negotiated for the whole dash ---everything :) So I will have the rotary heater controls instead of the sliders. I`ll get the bracket too

Apparently you can buy it in Maplins, computer keyboard cleaner!! Just make sure you use it upside down :) I`m going to give it a try too, nothing to lose :)

I would go for 215x40x17,I always think 205x40x17 is too much of a stretch. I dont like the way they sit on the rim :)

Received discs and pads from Pat McCrotch (quality name always makes me snigger) As described cant fault the boy :)

Cheers Shaun, I did try the search and found various conversion threads. None of them quite answered my questions :( Howwever I have made the executive decision to go for the full late dash conversion. The Corrado I took the leather and seat looms from has the dash. So its Plan B and back for a complete late dash!!!! I going to take everthing I think I will need, wiring looms switches etc. Going to have another read through the swap topics just to make sure I dont miss anything :)

Its the "crack pipe",runs from the block to the thermostat housing. I beleive you will have to remove the thermostat housing to get it out. You dont have to take off the manifold :) Do a search on Crack Pipe or replacing thermostat housing That should help you. It might be better to replace the thermostat housing at the same time. As its all plastic and gets brittle with age,not too expensive either :)

Think its got something to do with VW fleet or press cars. All registered originally by VW???? Might be wrong though!!

WHY WOULD YOU ??????????

My car is a `92 VR6 with the early dash and door cards. Quick question does anyone know if the late interior mirror/window switch, electrical connections are the same as the early ones? I`ve just picked up a late interior to change over from my early interior. I haven`t got as far as taking the early door cards off yet.Just wondered if I need to go back for the door looms? As for heated seat looms has anyone got a pic of an early heated seat switch? Do all Corrados have the wiring in the dash loom for heated seats? I`m just trying or hoping I can make this easy for myself. If not I`m going back for the complete late dash and loom!!!

I recently had a quote for my MK5 GTi ,to get the bonnet, front bumper wings, colour code the rear bumper and side skirts, they wanted £450.Not the cheapest but the finish on their work is outstanding :) Ended up not bothering cos going into winter all I need is a gritter to pebbledash my new paint!!! Going to wait till spring time 8)

Good to see you havent become disilluisioned with your dads carelessness   Projects like this take time and effort so just roll with it :) This website may be of help in your hunt for the leather trim/hides :) http://topgrainhides.co.uk/page42.htm

Never heard of it . Are you sure its not a steering wheel from a later MK3 golf that says airbag on it?? That was one of the reasons VW gave for stopping the Corrado. It was going to take too much to retool for airbags!!!! Is this the accident damaged VR6 with the Storm badges? Its not a Storm if it is :D :D

That seems a good deal going by the reviews. Its now reduced in price to £50. And you can change the software to Tom Tom :)

Just wonder what this dude was doing creeping about his neighbours garage with a camera
