On M6 south bound on Sat about 12:30hrs a silver G plate 16 valve,just cruising in the fast lane. :lol: Also on Sunday M6 northbound a red G60 parked outside a Macdonalds,I think.It was north of Manchester don`t know exactly where,but could see it clearly from the M-way. 8)

Just remove the rear wiper altogther cleans up the rear no end 8)

There is a place at Bridge of Weir that supplies leather for all quality car interiors,I think they do Alcantara too.Certainly worth a try as they are quite close for you Joe.

Used to have one.Nice enough car but fairly underpowered as standard,chip and pulley helps.Left hand drive not the easiest for overtaking on country roads either. Most people don`t realise that its standard.The number of times I had to explain it wasn`t a Golf with a body kit :lol: Think you would be far better off with a corrado though :!:

How stretched will the 205`s look. I really don`t want an undertyred look with too much rim sticking out. Also are there any problems associated with fitting 8" rims. Do I need to consider having the arches rolled I have Fk coilovers which I am also fitting will these affect the clearance of the wheels. Anyone got good pics of these wheels fitted to a C

Will be interesting to see what the Jetta goes for.I see the reserve has not been met buying a cheap Mk2 would be easier,I think.Thing is after spending all the time and effort on the Vr might be better just keeping it----and stop doing track days :lol: :lol:

Yeah I like the idea of arriving before the exaust sound too. Big boys toys are doing a 10% off weekend 16-17 April,they do both Magnex(£339) and Milltek(£332) for the VR6 cat back system.These prices will have 10% off on the weekend offer. Might be of interest to some :)

I had the 60k service done on my Storm last Oct at Vw and it cost £150.For that all they did was open the bonnet and change the oil and filter,top up the levels and valet the car.The only thing good I can say about that was that I got the stamp in the book.I will not be taking it back :!:

It might be worth asking for a price with them doing all the preparation and stripping. Then offer to strip the car yourself taking the lights out door handles off and all the easy stuff,as whiteee, says time is money. Certainly worth asking just to see how much of a diference it would make. Just leave the bodyshop to the painting and prepping.
