Anybody know the easiest way of removing the rear windscreen.(without breaking it) It looks as if its bonded in? Any ideas would be appreciated. :D

Eug, You must be the most unlucky Corrado owner on this forum. :cry: Thats two in 6 months at this rate there will be none left in about ten years. :) seriously though the police will be able to track down the vehicle from the details you have given them. The only problem being it is probably a ned mobile that has passed through a dozen owners since the last registered keeper. You can be guaranteed that the owner will have 1 no driving licence,2 no insurance,3 no MOT,4 was drunk,or all of the foregoing. At least you are uninjured as a result :) Things can only get better :?: :?: :?:

Anybody tell me how the door trim is attached ,particularly at the bottom front corner,near the speaker. I have taken all the obvious screws off but the trim seems to be being held by something around the speaker area.Any ideas. :?:

G60Jet, I was in the local dealers yesterday and there it was on the parts computer deleted 25/5/04. :( Some dealers may have them left in stock,but you can no longer order them.It was the chrome one I was after. :)

The chrome effect "Corrado" badges were discontinued by Vw on 25/5/04.I know i`ve tried them :!: They do say that some dealers will still have them in stock,it`s just your luck :!: I was going to try GPC dunno if they do them :?:

I had a local guy do some keyed scratches on the side of my car just as a sort of stop gap tidy up job until I can have it resprayed.He has made a good enough job of it and from a distance it looks good and tidy,which is what I wanted. :) On very close inspection its not brilliant,but hey it was cheap :) Next step is to get the dentmaster guy out to do the dings in the doors. Long term a respray is the best option but for a quick fix I can recommend the chips away type companies. :)

Storm, It certainly isn`t the spoiler contoller.The spoiler control box is just above the dash switch.It is about 2"x3".Don`t know what that is in your pic :?

Found this out a couple of weeks ago when I was phoning round to get prices for tints,most places told me this.However thay did say it was up to me if I wanted the drivers and passenger door windows done. 8) I am still going to get them done in light smoke,which should be light enough not to attract too much unwanted attention(ie.police :!: ) My Audi has tints all round and that is the way it came,there is no way I am having them removed,it would end up looking like a van :!: Personally I think it looks sh*** with only the rear half done :!:
