  5. leew, Ha ha ha I like it .........not a lot
  6. Fat Tony, That sounds OK to me. vr6paul2003, What about you Paul. 8)
  7. leew, Got any pics of your mum :?:
  8. Fat Tony, vr6paul2003, Hi,guys been kinda busy lately. That garage sounds fine .........now where is it. :?:
  9. Steve B, IMO your brother is having a laugh. There is no way he will get 9k for it.He now has an interested party without having to advertise apparently willing to give him 9K. In saying that,it is the same with selling anything you only need one person willing to give you the asking price. It`s up to you it`s your cash. :)
  10. leew, Looking good Lee. :) Looks like the car has been lowered.Whatcha using. :?:
  11. Steve B, [ I know what your saying guys - but check auto trader. 94/ 95 VRs with 60 odd K on the clock are going for around 8.5K. Fact There is of course a difference between what they are advertised for and what they actually go for. :) I think if you waited a fortnight and phoned the people selling 8-9K Corrados you would find that most of them will still have them. Prices really depend on what someone is prepared to pay.I think if you were to take a late model C VR6 to a garage as a trade in you would be very lucky to get more than 5k for it -immaterial what what condition it was.It is after all at least a 7-8 year old car.
  12. ROADHOG, They were talking about a group buy on the E Group(when the sever for this forum was down) Dunno the outcome but they needed about 50 confirmed orders before they would produce the UK specs. The temperature guage reads in celcius instead of farenheit,so the manufacturers need a full order before they will make em 8)
  13. Andi, stormseeker, I had a quick read through this page about the blue leds and thought --Eh :!: :? Will have to read it again when I`ve got my thinking head on. :!: :!:
  14. dan, Sorry mate in my opinion they look sh*** :!: I would stick with the tinted rear lights, they still look cool 8) Like the painted number plate surround too. How long did it take to polish up the manifold :?: Really tidy looking car
  15. kevhaywire, The wiper blades are the same length as the Corrado ones,I measured them side by side before fitting--just out of curiosity. 8)
  16. Andi, Don`t know if you have tried it yet or have you been too busy   I have bought and fitted them today as the guys say only took five minutes unbolt the old ones bolt up the new ones --- job done  I bought the two drivers side arms and blades part numbers: 6x2955410A(wiper arms) 6x2955425B(wiper blades) The question about how far it wipes is difficult to explain,at the top of the sweep top of screen there is a 4cm space between top of the blade and the top of the screen (this would appear to be the same as standard) I think that would be OK for your rain sensor if it is fitted up next to the rear view mirror. 8) When the wipers are at the diagonal point facing the top corner of the passenger side of screen-there is 10" between the top of the blade and the top right corner of the screen.Ithink this is more or less the same as standard. The main thing is they work perfectly every time.
  17. Blown, Got to tell you I know a few mechanics who are now working on them and they all say the engines are good, cos they are VW,the rest of the car is crap cos it`s still a Skoda. :)
  18. G60Jet, I heard that about VW too that they were moving away from sporty cars and trying to move more upmarket. That is why a lot of VW dealers are now getting landed with Skoda as a sweetener for them losing out on VW sales targets,a lot of VW dealers will end up losing the franchise and be given the delightful Skoda range instead :!: :!: BTW read in todays papers that a guy was jailed for a year for speeding in his Skoda.......146mph :!: :!: Nice to see the british judicial system has its priorities right again :!: :!:
  19. jims16v, The stereo does have the original ISO plug in the rear of the unit the only problem the wires have been cut close in to the head unit so a few connector blocks would be needed to wire it in.To be honest if it was me and I was trading in I would just stick it in the dash to fill up the hole and it would be the dealers problem after that. :!: :!: It does have the cage and manual too.
  20. I know Ally Mccoist had a blue VR6 back when he was still playing for Rangers. 8)

  22. Where abouts on the west coast are you below Glasgow or above. Think I will be meeting my mate on the way up (4th road bridge Roysth side) if thats on route I'll be up for it Mr Green[/quote:5b1bb]Fat Tony, Yeah Tony I am south of Glasgow so I would be heading the same way as you.Across the M8 and over the Forth road bridge, give us a shout nearer the time and we can sort out a place to meet.
  23. G60Jet, Nigel mate I just had to replace the rad on my VR6 Golf and it cost £80,so I reckon it it will be much the same for your G60.Just do it you know it makes sense in the long run. :!:
  24. jims16v, Jim it```s no problem if you just need it to put in the car before you trade it,I can get it to you just say the word. :)
