  1. I need to wash the car, but its bloody breezy outside!
  2. No idea what this is all about but thought I would be the first to try it
  3. would you sell the heated seat loom seperately? Only need the dash side but would buy the lot if the price is right.
  4. Thanks Josh, I agree with dragon green that if someone isn't following the forum rules and because they jumped ahead of me, they should be shames, As mentioned, a good friend of mine has a Z4 and he loves it. I guesse your on the Z4 forum? He's just bought a kit they allows for the hood to open/close automatically on one button press instead of the long hold they have at the moment. Anyway BTT, look forward to the pictures to show the niggles, as you know I'm pretty picky but I was really happy with the quality of your goods/descriptions last time we worked together so shouldnt be a problem. Deposit can be sorted, full payment can also be sorted but will be living off noodles like my good old uni days. I have that price you wanted for it a long time back when I first started looking for a CF bonnet in Sept 2010 just wondered if you would better that slightly considering how much time has passed and how much of a great guy you are :luvlove: . As a side note, do you have any more Davia air con kits? Might try and fit one of these again.
  5. Tbh mine was down to a poor repair job. The rust was completely cut and a replaced by new panels. Not sure how long it took as it was part of a full respray
  6. Hi Josh, hopefully I didnt put you off buying the Z4? Whats the condition of the bonnet, any stone chips, scratches etc. I've been thinking about this more, and reckon I could go for the CF/FG mix as long as the price is right. (im correct in saying that the FG is black?) You planning on going past Peterborough at any time? I'm in no imediate rush for it as my bank account has taken a pounding recently and I need to get it back into the black.
  7. I had something on mine, not as severe but still a nasty surprise Same wheel arch as yours. Someone had tried fixing the damage, but didnt do a very good job
  8. Oh no! Whats wrong with it. I have one in the garage if you need one? Hows the new suspension setup, should I go for gold gaz or save up for the fk's? Cheers, you managed to get your seats sold in the end. Did you go for all black leathers in their place?
  9. Finally got the new coil on the engine and was a little worried that if this didnt fix it I would struggle to work out what else could be causing the bad engine running but luckily my diagnosis was spot on  New coil and new spark plugs (just in case and she deserved a treat) and shes better than before. So with a once again healthy engine and a fully functional spoiler ....but for how long??
  10. yeah, get it sorted. I would give you a hand but after pulling my back out Im a bit delicate. Just thought all three of our corrado's are off the road at the moment  Chris, is you just need someone to hold your hand with the clutch work let me know. Maybe Jon could help too??
  11. Cheers Chris, yeah taken a while to figure out the problem for the spoiler issue. Turned out to be a wire in the wrong place. Hopefully getting a new coil tomorrow so fingers crossed it sorts the missfire, all fingers point to this being the problem John, thanks for the advice will bear that in mind. But decided to take the car off the road just incase. Bit of a pain but dont want to wreck the cylinder chambers or lambdas. £30+vat for each coil x 6, ouch!!
  12. signed, but most likely nothing will be done with it.
  13. Yup, I've got my evening planned around it!
  14. Yeah I've heard they tend to fail soon after each other. Bit surprised on this failing as the engine has only done 20k! Will try and get all six tomorrow just in case.
  15. Cheers, I don't have the cat, but the r32 lambda's are frigging expensive so wouldn't want to damage those. Damn, will have to find a lift tomorrow then.
  16. Hi Took the car out for a jolly today only to come home and find that the car starting to misbehave. I thought it may be misfiring so popped the bonnet and unplugged each spark pug in turn. Cylinder three made no difference to the engine so presumed this could be the culprit and so moved the coil from that cylinder to number 1. Again popped off each spark plug feed and now only cylinder one seemed to make a difference. So my assumption is the cylinder coil pack has had it. I cant get a replacement until at least tomorrow which causes a big problem as I have to drive to work in the morning. Any one driven a 6 cylinder corrado on 5 cylinders, or any engine with a none functioning cylinder? can it be done or should i find another way into work tomorrow?
  17. Damn it!! Fix one thing only for something else to play up. My rear spoiler hasn't worked since April so I decided to check the sideboard. Found that a wire which shouldn't have been plugged in and that sorted the spoiler. Wahoo!! Now on the way home the engine started to misfire. I think ive sourced it to faulty coil on one of the cylinder so fingers crossed once I get a replacement part it sorts the misfire out. Any one know if can run the car on 5 cylinders just to get me to work and to be tomorrow? Roughly 10 miles away.
  18. Looking much better. When do you hope to be back on the road?
  19. No idea how I missed this thread, but very cool. Nice to see such an rare setup
  20. Whats this about weekend night in Telford, have I been missing out on something here?
  21. Just spent a day doing ther second version of the 3.2 V6 conversion guide. Spent ages working on it, making sure pictures were as small as possible to keep the file size down and could only reach a minimum of 9Mb! So had to convert to PDF which I didnt really want. Hopefully the new guide is easier to follow and helps others out. :D I did only hope to be doing the new revision for a few hours but ended up running out of daylight and couldnt work on the car...must wire up the seats and sort out the rera spoiler !
