  1. ? Are these the feeds for the left and right indicators, do you know what the feed is for the hazard switch?
  2. been bedding in the 312's and they work perfectly with the engine, both of which seem to get better. Met some guys today who were into their vdubs, great chatting cars and looking at someone else's even though its not quite a local owner. Ive bought myself some new rims, wont say what they are just yet, but am going away from the BBS multi-spoke look for a while. Have a guesse, winner can have a choclate chip muffin.
  3. as above, if you still struggle try to get some localised heat onto the ball joint.
  4. i have a lambda that works fine, see my link below £15+p&p, will check and let you know how many wires it has to see if it would fit your car. worth a try? Removing the lambda will affect the fueling ratio, dont think it would cause your problem but someone here with more experience may know better. Check the coil pack isn't cracked or that you have any other electrial faults causing a misfire.
  5. Met two VW fans outside McDonalds in Peterborough near the Boongate roundabout roughly 20mins ago, they were parked up in a black 16v on porsche wheels. Car looked quite nice and would have liked to spoke more but froze my nips off due to only wearing a t-shirt. I think the owner said he sold his mk5 to get the rado. Never caught their names but may see them and the car again at inters.
  6. tbh I didnt think it sounded that great, plus do you reckon the price is suitable? Not sure it's worth that much, if it is......anyone wanna buy mine?
  7. I take it you didn't buy it as a kit then, just the seperate components. Let us know how it goes. no, was the kit. came with instructions, relay, plug, wiring and cable ties. PN 000 998 229 A and cost £33.17 inc vat may give it a try this weekend, if anyone can tell me which wires are the live feeds for left/right and hazard lights(indicators) that would save me some time.
  8. to me they look like 312mm. If you measure from the outside diameter of the disk to the top edge of the pad will give you how much difference there is. if its roughly 30mm, then you need 312mm discs
  9. I got the part numbers off the link i posted earlier. But once ive fitted it ill let you all know. Price was about £30
  10. bought one the other day, just need to get round to fitting it now lol
  11. fitted some 312mm brakes today, still need to bed them in so am looking forward to seeing how these compare to the 288mm! After speaking to Mark at SWICT he said all I need to do is connect the aux water pump live to the small black and red wire on the fan control relay but for some reason this doesn't seem to be powering the pump (earth to battery was done). How did every one else wire it up? I ended up connecting it to a ign live wire just to have something working. Fixed the spoiler and now it works fine under the manual operation but wont raise or lower as I drive :censored: no idea why this is, checked fuses but all good which makes sense 'cus the switch powers it just fine. Maybe the control box has gone?? Vince at stealth said he may be able to help me with sorting out the rev counter
  12. if you mean between the pads and piston then yes it should be there, otherwise dunno
  13. Just speaking to my boss and he had something similar. It did cause the acc pedal to move "on it's own" due to the mechanical link. Which could cause a bit of an unerving feeling. Just thought its worth mentioning
  14. unlikely but, could the alternator be trying to draw too much energy from the engine and causing it to stall? again its a bit of a long shot.
  15. not liking how they are resting the front bumper :cuckoo: So you must be the first rado owner to go for the r36. Good call, I was almost going the same direction but couldnt afford the costs and time off the road (daily and only car lol). Good luck with it all, and look forward to seeing it.....which will be when and where?
  16. you are correct, but this is unlikely. In fact if you do it correctly it will be as reliable as the fuse and relay setup that vw do which Im pretty sure is one relay to control both high and low beams. having a relay up front is used to shorten the distance the current has to travel through wiring from the battery to the headlamps. but could be talking :censored: as I am not an electrical engineer entirely your choice, just trying to save you some work and money
  17. dont you just need 3 relays, one for the main, low and fogs? I wouldn't bother with the fogs tbh.
  18. The brake pressure regulator's I guess is different. Among a few other things - the tension spring on the VR6 is much shorter then the one on the G60. :) is the tension spring under a different part number? I need to know if i should use a vr6 regulator when fitting the vr6 rear subframe to a 16v chassis
  19. They seem to be different in part numbers, why is this? Is it and external or internal difference?
  20. damn mate, did you get my note on your forum about your possible issue with the flat spot, its a long shot tbh but you never know
  21. :pale: :( has it gone to a good home though?
  22. this might help people out, google chrome came in useful as my german isnt any good lol http://www.passatplus.de/umbauten/blinker/index.htm
  23. this is good but details the wiring for a later model car, anyone know the correct method for fitting this convenience indicator or are the wiring colours the same? pn 000 998 229 A
