    nice suggestion Chris VR6nos, but i will be travelling in the sprinter as i`ve got a rear axle to drop off in edinburgh and some audio gear too, i`m not too bad with the spanners meself but i`m sure to be bothering you about something or other :lol: cheers triggermyson, appreciate it :thumbleft:

    looks nice fella, i used to work at a fab shop where we used to make all sorts of coolers ( amongst other things ) , all in stainless to resist the coastal climate and can appreciate the effort you put in :thumbleft:

    a grant from the lottery commision would be nice, i applied for a `keep my rado going` grant but i`m still waiting 8) you shouldnt have too much trouble getting wheels, just got to be in the right place at the right time fella

    cheers lads, i`m rapidly trying to re organise all my work for the weekend just to get my ar*e up in bonny scotland, i really need starship technology to beam me up there and beam me back .............. alas, it will be in the sprinter again

    well, i`m like a dog with two d*cks at the moment !!! i`ve just finalised a deal with paul1 in aberdeen and will be picking up the charger at the weekend, i`m sure no one else is particulary interested but i`m in a sharing mood and wanted to tell everyone .............. just look at this little lot ................ complete with all the odds `n` sods and sump, injectors and chip ............. happy days

    that rolling machine is actually working on the internal lip of the arch and is trying to push/roll the edge of the lip back on it`s self, it`s quite a strong area to roll as the lip is basically the meeting point of the inner and outer wing edges so it`s double the thickness

    the g-man has one if you really fancy it, i guess if it was a really hot day and the person doing it was competant then you may well have no additional problems, i didnt mean to come across as the sort of person to p*ss on your fireworks but just trying to be realistic :lol:

    have you seen a rolling tool ?, if not, here`a a piccy the pressure applied can distort the panel work as the rolling takes place, they usually try to warm up the surrounding with a heat gun or something similar to prevent it but it can happen

    sensible idea, i`m getting a bit concerned about the new wheels i purchased a while back, 15" x 8" et 25, i`m getting the original vr wheels refurbed just in case the new wheels require any arch work, i`m not too keen on the rolling of the arches as it all could go wrong leaving corrective work to the panels after the rolling has been done, not always the case i know but a issue that can arise

    :lol: you snooze, you lose :lol: i quess it makes a change for me to get lucky, i seem to remember a time that everything i looked at was bought by someone else before i had a chance to write the pm :) , my old vr is going to be a lot quicker soon so it will need a bit more stopping ability. what`s the wheel size you got will, i know they are 17" but whats the et and width and is it rubbing at the back or front mate ?
