I think so buddy. Its curtains and good night from me for a while. Loving the M3, its jeeping me smiling as I've sort of broken up with my last girlfriend. The one that was horrible about my Corrado.... The time has come, from 17 to 32 I've always been Corrado mad and its time for a change. Obviously I will be back again but think when I'm nearing retirement age and have a garage/workshop. The bits I've listed so far are just what's in my house.... I know the real test is when I start advertising the main bits but my heart has said let go. She never let me down and had me at hello! Hope to still come down here and there to keep my finger in the Corrado scene. Now hopefully parts of her will live on in someone else's beast.

The engine and Rotrex charger and all associated parts will be coming on here soon. The full interior will then follow, wheels, engine etc. I need to review costings of it all and I'm open to people giving me a call to discuss. Not sure how best to advertise it all. Recaro heated and electric front seats and rear seats as one item? Then the door cards separate and abc pillars and headlining and then all the smaller trimmed bits? The rear bench has also got the back trimmed in Alcantara which you see when you open the boot. If anyone is interested in everything and has deepish pockets, please let me know. The front seats alone cost me 360 per hyde, needed 2 as it's Porsche Nappa Leather we used. So that's £720 just in Leather. To trim base plastics and seat belt clasps in Alcantara, this was an extra £100 labour and he a bit of Alcantara but I had that spare from other works I had done and paid for. Labour per seat was approx £250 so that's £500 and then there was the purchase of these seats from Germany at a delivered cost as he only wanted to send to Germany came to about £850, maybe nearer to £900 delivered with exchange rate etc. So that totals just for the front seats £2220.00. We didn't need all of the leather from the second Hyde, so some allowance can be taken off the above but I had other smaller items trimmed from the excess. So if you said these seats owe me just over £2000. Oh and the original wiring loom for the seats from Germany that's plug and play into fuse board. This was about £50 and needed some new wiring ends from VW to solder/connect as found some damaged wires where it goes around the hinges. All repaired, soldered and heat shrinked and working. Hardly been sat on and bolsters are some of the best my trimmer has seen. Floor less. So will look at offers. Once I've actually removed them and they are sat safely in my house then I will list them for a price and see what happens. To be honest, it's the artery once removed will mean the car will no longer move and be sold in parts. Will be a sad moment for sure. I really don't think you will find a better set and I'm keeping everything to only this Forum. Naturally if nobody wants them on here will open up the playing field. Rams

Sorry mate, maybe you know its not an e46 but you were just saying you always fancied one

It is superbly comfortable and last night used the M button and stiffens steering and sharpens throttle response and sets EDC suspension. It's not the E46 M3, its the E93 which I think they call it. As the sun has come out, will be going for a drive with the roof down. There's no creaks at all from the roof, if you blind folded someone they wouldn't know. Corrado needs to have the ZW1's wheels removed as the polished surface quickly gets dulled so will put the D90's back in and again, decide what to do....

Well, I've just picked up my new machine and have to say, its a pleasure to drive. Completely different kettle of fish to the C. I'm going to put my car in a friends garage which he offered me tonight and give it a few weeks and see how I feel. The car I've bought, I could make money on and did contemplate trading a few cars and giving that a try as a side line / hobbie. Drove back from the A34 to Bournemouth just now with the roof down. My friend said you've got to get the roof down and wrapped up and it felt brilliant. The sound of the V8 whilst a bit lazy in standard mode sounds superb. Just before we left to go to Wales to collect the new car, I did feel bad walking past the C. Even saw one on the motorway and gave it a cheer! So the love won't just end but I've got some nice parts which will sell easily so I'm in a good position to have a few weeks to fully decide. This is the new toy

Some deciding to do

How are the oil temps etc at the time you loose boost? Maybe more cooling is needed to sustain the boost levels. Mine feels quite a bit quicker on different days/lower temps. Have you got a uprated injectors and fuel pump?
-
It's not easy looking at the boost gauge when gunning it
