Harrier, they look bloody brilliant on your car. You must be very chuffed. Hope you've had stern words with yourself to stay away from those kerbs!

Thanks chaps, your too kind Gave the old girl a wash and hand polished the wheels, fixed a boost pipe which had come off, it was missing a hose clamp and wondered why she was misbehaving. I've got the abs light on since having the obd2 loom fitted the 2nd time round so she's going back next week to investigate. It comes on once you start driving. Trying to get a date to book the car in for the intercooler and alterations to pipe work. My all red rears are fading and going cloudy and still show the raised lettering so need to tackle this job soon and find some new headlights to smarten the front end. Still need to tackle 2 more issues with the annoying, doing my head in aux water pump which only works when the engine is running and why my obd2 reader won't communicate. All wiring related but I've given up trying to do it myself. Hopefully someone out there will offer their services. I would happily drive a couple of hundred miles to someone who knows what they are doing. I've got an obd2 loom if anyone needs one? Cheers Rams

Hi guys It's been a while, I've just started a small project and whilst taking a picture of the garden the car was in shot so good excuse to post something and to say I'm still alive and hi really. Haven't been driving the car that much but a few trips to visit my girlfriend in London was a great excuse to take the Corrado. You guys will love the last few bits I'm having trimmed. Will show you once complete but I should win a prize for most trimmed out car! Surely. Lol Otherwise hope all are well if reading this... Rams

It was a moment of weakness, personal life seems to have gone up a gear too so it's all becoming well again. Catch up soon folks once the next steps are under way, the captain has called for more power! Cheers

It's the lights themselves which are for sale, I bought them as a spare set as they came up and I knew how rare they are. I have a clear set fitted to my car and just cut them into the side of the bumper as you see from the second picture attached. Just extend the wires from the wing indicators into the bumper location. I removed and flushed my wing indicators. Hope that clarifies things for you. Cheers Rams

I've had a good think and I've decided to keep her and get the other car towards the end of this year and that way both cars keep the mileage down... When I started to think about it I soon realised I would miss her too much and would be throwing away money. Just recently I've had people taking pictures of the car at traffic lights and quite a few comments from passers by when pulling into the drive way. Boosted my passion for it all and a nice blast out with the guys and whilst looking in the rear view mirror I found myself saying, " Corrado's do look very cool" Going to take it up to another level and continue improving her. Going to scarf in some a6 door handles and get an Intercooler fitted and all new charger pipework etc. So I'm here to stay guys! Thanks for all your kind words too!

Complete with bulbs and bulb holders, original Hella type. Did sell to a forum member but couldn't afford / budget for them in the end so now back for sale. £60 plus Delivery, extremely rare items and a nice mod to use as actual indicators and recessing them into the front bumper. Here's a pic to give you an idea

A little jolly

I only spent so much as I never thought I would sell it and I would reap the benefits of it being totally reliable. I'm still undecided and its a decision I won't make hastily. Each time I had one and sold it because I couldn't afford it was painful and with this one I thought she would get everything she needed as I started my own business 4 years ago worked my socks off and had the money to do it but perhaps neglected the other things in life which are just as important. Lets see what happens and thanks for your reply.

Chaps, interesting replies - The day I wrote the ' I'm breaking it' I had just picked her up after replacing the wiring loom with another obd2 loom and now the aux pump is working but there's still a fault as its not coming on when the engine is off and she going back next week and hoping it can be sorted once and for all. Even though I'm still in 2 minds, I want to fix this issue and just got a bit upset with it all. If I can take her somewhere that can help me with this I would be grateful to know who could help me with this? I also recently broke up with my girlfriend of 5 years and have been quite up and down and trying to pick myself up. It hasn't been easy and for anyone that's gone through something similar it can have funny effects on you. I'm looking at a Porsche 911 Carrera 4 S Convertible, the 997 model. I've always wanted a convertible since forever and never owned one and now after 7 years trying to get a project through I've managed to pull it off so will enable me to buy the Porsche. I'm single, have no kids and thinking this is the time where I should enjoy such a car and what a car it is! Now the concern is, when the Porsche comes, am I really going to have the same love for the C or is it going to become redundant? I just couldn't stand to see the C standing there doing nothing and for what I've spent, nobody would be stupid enough to pay me something close to what's been pumped into her and that's why the breaking it idea came to mind. Just the front Recaro seats alone would owe me more than 1600 pounds, sourcing from Germany, re trimming and delivery and fixing the wiring fault. The charger and the linked items to run it all safely, again over a couple of thousand pounds, plus map is more than 3000 pounds. That's now over 4500 pounds and we haven't got into the wheels, suspension and the rest of the interior bla bla bla. Some nice C's haven't even made that amount and if I advertised the car for strong money and someone said its over priced I couldn't take the feedback. I'd say there's over 20,000 pounds spent on this car just to put things into perspective. I've had quite a few emails saying they would buy the entire interior, the engine and other items so its good to know that there's interest out there. So I need to decide if I can keep the car as ultimately when I do meet someone and want to start a family the Porsche will have to go and I would be missing the C. I've got the Audi TT, plus my van and soon my driveway will be an NCP! It hasn't been an easy time like I say but it was an idea I had and wanted to test the water. I've just put a years tax on the C and washed her yesterday and went out for a drive and this weekend I want to fit all the under trays and get it all back together. Here's a picture of the tailgate plastic that was trimmed, nice little touch and didn't want to ruffle any feathers but now you know what I'm going to buy it may sit a little better and some of my other reasons. I've been a member here for over 10 years, had 4 Corrado's and amongst my friends I've very much the Corrado man and love them to bits. So go easy on me folkes!

I can't believe I'm even typing this out but I'm not sure where to start... I'm thinking about buying the car of my dreams and I know I'm going to fall in love with it and I couldn't see my Storm sat there so I'm of the opinion to start selling it in pieces. I'm never going to get what I've ploughed into it so I won't even consider selling it as a complete car so I'm throwing this out there and hoping to see what interest I get! I haven't even given this more thought except to announce my plans. My interior is possibly one of the best out there, engine, Rotrex charger which is producing one of the highest figures I've certainly seen on the charged Corrado scene. 332.4 BHP mapped by Vince - Stealth Racing. If someone can assist me with what I need to do or how I should go about listing everything I would be grateful. I'm sure my Recaro heated electric seats will be on most people's menu but don't know if I should look at selling the entire interior as everything has been trimmed, literally everything. Each time I look at her I gulp but the new car, as in new to me will be making its way to me towards November and I've bough a TT to run around in so I could start the process sooner rather than later to get the heart ache over and done with.

He's called Tim.... He works for a company that does brand new luxury cars, Ferrari, Bentley etc and does private work for me and friends at home. Some bits he takes to work if he needs the special glue when doing the head lining or something.... I'm happy to PM his number. Harrier went and had his Recaros done and he was very happy with them. He's just a very decent chap that is mental with detail. You should see his own car. Almost 10 years in the building and its still not ready. Alcantara floor carpet all the way through. I was nearly sick! You guys think I'm bad! Lol He's based in Poole Dorset. Happy to be a go between if you need help. He even had the Recaro symbol machined for me by his friend after we gave him the drawing. It can become addictive

Cheers buddy, I want to do another steering wheel, Alcantara at the top from stitch lines and leather everywhere else. I've also got back in touch with an old friend who works for a tunning company, met at a BBQ and didn't stop chatting all night. Took the Corrado down to him so he could have a look as I think my inlet pipe is sucking closed when really going for it towards the red line. So we are going to make all new pipe work and run an intercool. We even discussed relocating the charger to sit below the alternator but these are just discussions as present. Also making a heat shield to fit the manifold and the intake pipe work. I think it's defeating the object to get cold air in with all that heat soaking the vital areas. He's also talking to me about different ecu's but for now I'm going to try and improve the pipe work and fitter locations and see how that goes. Once I'm happy with that, the new engine work will commence. He will then make moulds that people can buy. Going for a black powder coated finish as the polished stuff irritates me where I'm not keeping on top of it. Decided 4 wheel drive is just not what I want to do, so planning a LSD and stronger clutch and traction control. More than likely Wavetrac. Will also stick some new wish-bones in with r32 bushes as I'm not convinced on the poly ones I'm running. Rams

Some more bits trimmed, I just love the Alcantara bits. Feel so much nicer. It's a pleasure to lift the handbrake now! Lol Also the rear plastic boot trim is done in Leather. Just need to fit it. I had a job removing it as the lock keep, one of the Allen bolts was welded on there. It's out now and copper slipped! Before and after. Now I have a re trimmed leather one and Alcantara one. Like Saxso with interchangeable bits! Just a bit posher! Dropped off my original gear knob for some Alcantara treatment and the little glove box strip that covers screws. This will be in leather.
-
K Baggs did mine, well one of the lads privately. PM me if you would like his details. Based I'm Poole Dorset. He also did Harriers Recaros. He had to remove my leather first and said the finish wouldn't have been as good. You may get away going on the top of the existing but he couldn't do that to mine. So it's the same thickness as oem. I might do another wheel and see if it can be made to be a bit chunkier...
-
Here's a pic of mine
-
I did mine, Alcantara centre and leather outer.... Makes a nice change and nice and comfortable. You will probably have to remove the existing leather as it may move too much to trim unless yours is nice and tight. If you can go over the top it should make it a bit chunkier.

Sold to Owen G60. You can measure where mine locate but mine sit on top of the bumper and you would probably be better off mounting them flush with the bumper. Just need some modification to the inside of the bumper sides to hold it in place or a bracket/strap. Rams
